Jared and his crew do excellent work. They Installed 2 Infratech SL-30 patio heaters on my freestanding redwood arbor. Work included new circuits, wiring under house, installation of outdoor conduit and a new outdoor GFCI outlet. The crew was efficient, polite, and professional. Recommend highly.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Jared was amazing to work with. He responded to my call for a bid promptly and came out to see our situation that afternoon. We needed to run a 50amp circuit to our kitchen for the installation of a new induction range. His bid was very competitive and he took the time to evaluate our panel and sub panel to make sure adding this electrical load would not tax our ""ampicity."" He scheduled us right away and his crew showed up on time. They were extremely careful and personable and of course were masked and considerate about distancing in our home. Not only was the work done to install the new circuit, but because we needed some patching work, rather than our having to start a search for a competent, reasonable dry wall person, he arranged all of it for us and that work was completed within the next 2 days. If we'd had to have taken the time to find and interview dry wallers, it easily would have stretched on for many days, if not weeks. His commitment to quality work as well as ""beyond the call of duty"" service coupled with a very good price is why we'd give him 10 stars if we could!

The owner Jared came out within a couple days of calling and did a few tests to figure out what the problem was. He was very knowledgeable and had his awesome crew come out later that day to fix the issue. I would highly recommend Current Electric.

We have lived in Palo Alto for thirty six years and have searched from time to time for an electrician who was reliable, readily available and who could do first-class quality work on small jobs. Finally our search is over. Current Electric will be our choice from now on. I first called them to do some work in my furniture workshop in San Carlos. Jared Carlson, the owner, answered my call within the day, gave me a reasonable estimate for the work I needed and his assistant, Greg, came out promptly and did the work. Greg's knowledge and the quality of his work were excellent. Later, Jared and Greg did some work for a colleague and friend nearby and I was impressed by their advice, sometimes, not to choose the most expensive solution to the problem at hand. As a result of these experiences, we engaged Current Electric to do some more extensive modifications of the electrical system of our home. There, they had to work in harmony with a landscape contractor who had his own ideas of how the wiring should be done. Again, I was struck by Jared's and Greg's wide knowledge of different solutions, and their understanding of when the expensive option would be worth the price and when it wouldn't. The work is now done and the precise workmanship that seems to be their standard is apparent throughout the project. The total cost is very reasonable and right in line with the estimates I was given. In short, I would recommend Current Electric to anyone who wants top quality electrical work done promptly and at appropriate cost.

Monday nite, not sure what happened, I was pulling out a lamp for the outlet and I triggered some spark and it burned my outlet (see photo #1)
The circuit breaker kicked in and I was able to get my other outlet to continue (to get the fridge going)

Found Current Electric (recommended by Andrew). I tried my luck at 8pm Monday night and I texted Jared. The owner texted me back within 5 mins and he squeezed an appt for me on TUESDAY.

Tuesday, Greg stopped by and replaced the outlet for me. He explained to me in details what happened and what needed to be replaced.

He finished everything in 45 mins. Thank you! 5 STARS work!

I now have a good contact for all my electrical work. Thanks Jared and Greg!!!

The whole experience was very easy and straightforward. Jared came and inspected our electrical and let us know that we did not have available electrical for our car charger. Couldn't be happier with Current Electric and electrician Jared. From start to finish he was so easy to work with, explained everything in detail, was patient with all our questions, did the work beautifully and on schedule. We initially hired him to put in an electric charging station and offhand we mentioned an issue with our oven. He very rightly was concerned and made sure we knew the issue and what needed to be done for our safety. He completed that job on top of the main job with great professionalism.
