I have found my forever electrician! Current Electric came highly recommended and I can see why. They are the best in the business, punctual, incredibly professional, and reasonably priced.

Background:
My family and I moved into our house a little while ago and from the start I could see that there were problems with the electrical. Previous owner was an electrician and it was clear he took some liberties that were definitely hazardous - example: non-enclosed, non-gfi electrical outlets all over the place outside with exposed pigtail wiring, double-tapped a/c wires, etc. I know basic electrical but this was waaay out of my league and with a large property that had electrical everywhere!

Long story short, Current Electric came out for an initial inspection when I purchased the place and gave me a fair price to correct everything.

After living in the house for a short time, and dealing with some other priorities, I wanted them to come back to begin the original corrections and I had some additional work for them (installing fans, cutting in new recessed LED lights, replacing switches, installing dimmers, etc.)

The team at Current Electric is the best I've ever worked with. From Mike and Steve to Brent, Harry, and Joey, everyone who came were 100%, complete professionals.

They took the time to explain what was going on, troubleshooted and corrected the problems, and cleaned up after themselves everyday. They also did not go over their estimate.

From now on, I'm not calling anyone else but Current should I need anything related to electrical in the future. 5 stars hands-down!

I have known Mike for over 25 years. The company has done nothing but continue to improve! The recent addition of a young man, GREAT! He knows all about RING. This was not painful at all, had 2 floodlight cameras installed and the doorbell. I am so impressed. Harry has been with the company and is a God-send of an electrician! What a great combination of people to work, both were knowledgeable about the installation. Such a pleasure called Current Electric, and they got it done!

I recently purchased a Tesla and needed to upgrade the electrical panel at my house. I had a hard time finding an electrician that knows how to work with getting electrical systems to work for a Tesla. Finally I got a recommendation from the guys at Tesla Pasadena. Mike the owner of current electric came to my house and told me my options and gave me a quote. Because of the delivery of the Tesla was eminent Mike was able to send one of his crew to get the work accomplished in a rush. I also had other electrical work done at the house two weeks later. Overall I am very happy with the work and service. Mike and his team are highly knowledgeable. I believe their prices are fair and reasonable. Originally I thought if this company is recommended by Tesla it would be expensive. That is not true. It is very reasonable. I also did check the yelp review before hiring Mike. I was surprised by the low ratings of some of the recent posts. It seems that they probably are reviewing a different company with a similar name. The only downside of this company is that they are good so they have lots of repeat customers. They are busy.

No customer service and strange company! They just don't want to work or do business!
I called for some electrical work for my house. The lady who picked up the phone was rude and sounded very annoyed to answer a call and deal with a customer. She did not let me speak and said to send her an email. The email was not going through so I called her back and asked her if we could do this over the phone. She got very angry and responded ""SO, you want me to write everything down""!
I was shocked and asked ""don't you want my business? there are many other electricians out there but I chose you since I live in the area"". All she said was "" Go ahead, call them then"". I would give no stars if I could.

Worst customer service ever. Called and explained I need a new subpanel. It took 2 days for them to call with an appointment. The day of the appointment I call them to confirm oh yes they say he will be there. Never showed no call no apologies nothing. Do yourself a favor don't waste your time. I would give no stars if that was an option.

Poor/no customer service. I left a detailed message on the company voicemail on a Saturday for work that I needed done. I know it was the weekend but the business hours indicated that Current was open Saturdays and I called during the hours they were open. It has now been more three weeks and I never received a call back. I guess they didn't need or want my business but an acknowledgement would have been nice.

Very disappointed with this company's customer service and communication. I made an appointment for an electrician to come out at 8:30am to fix a problem. At 9:30am I called to ask if anyone was coming. The owner said that their previous call was taking longer than they expected, but that they should arrive around 10am. I get that people sometimes run late, but shouldn't he have called to give me a heads up? So I wait around until 11:20am when we call again, but this time nobody even answers so we leave a message to ask if anyone is still coming. Wait some more, nobody calls us back. At 12:30pm I call again, someone finally answers, and I tell them to not bother coming (not sure if they were even planning to at that point). The person was barely apologetic for wasting my morning and quickly hung up. This company apparently seems unable to call if their electricians are running late or won't show up at all.
