For starters Robert is a honest & trustworthy guy. My dad was a general contractor for many years and was there when we hired Robert to install a new electric panel and run the wires for our new electric water heater. My dad said ""I trust this guy, he knows what he's talking about and he's not giving you any bullshit"" lol, my dad. My husband asked him if he could start the work the next day after talking with him and he made it happen! Robert and his assistant Javier were thorough and got the job done fast & efficiently. Not only did he come the next day but he finished way sooner than he told us which was a good thing!

I was extremely pleased with his work, his flexible schedule and his ability to adapt by finding a way to accept credit cards when I asked if I could pay by him with credit. He gave us an amazing rate for the work needing to be done. Being still fairly new homeowners I'm sure we will have other work in the future and for all the reason above I will only call Robert when we need any type of electrical work done.

FYI : Our new electric water heater was out of necessity because the cost to repair the gas pipe we had that sprung a leak was more than a down payment on a house! So, we decided to just get rid of our only gas appliance, the water heater, and switch to electric which was the smarter more affordable option for such an unexpected issue. Robert took a look at our panel via text and saw it was really old and told us we would need a whole new electric panel to support this new water heater. Of course this brought the quote up but the price he gave us was still within reason. I'm glad he was able to tell us this via text rather than when he got here that way we were prepared with what we needed to pay. Robert & Javier you guys are awesome, thanks so much! Highly recommend to everyone!

HONEST GUY & QUALITY work!
After getting three different quotes my husband and I decided to hire Robert for some work we needed done in a home we just purchased. He installed 14 new LED lights into our ceiling, dimmers and he found open splices that weren't contained properly in the attic! I don't know how the inspector missed that, but thank goodness Robert is so meticulous he found them...we are so grateful as that could've started a major fire endangering our three kids. Our home looks great, you cannot go wrong with Current Electric and Lighting, Robert and his team know what they're doing!

I hired Robert and his partner Javier for a large job...we did the following:
1. Installed 10 can lights
2. 2 light pendants
3. 3 chandeliers
4. Run HDMI cable
5. 3 way switch
6. Install 2 J Boxes and one light fixture
7. Move outlets
These guys knew what they were talking about and they did the job right. Apparently when the previous owner remodeled the house they did not wire some things to code and Robert was quick to point out the safety hazard and he offered to fix it for a very nominal fee. They also installed a heavy chandelier in one room and without charging us he used his own material and time to reinforce it telling us that because it was in a child's room that he wanted to make sure a monkey could hang from it without it falling down. They were very meticulous in their thinking and planning so the least amount of drywall holes had to be made. The job did take a little longer than anticipated but the pricing was extremely fair and the job was done well. They were good about taking shoes off and vacuuming at the end of the day to make sure that everything was left the way it was found. The other thing that got Robert the job was that he was prompt in picking up the phone and getting me in within a reasonable amount of time to get the job quoted and started. I have found over and over that very few electricians pick up their phone, you have to wait around for them to call you back. Though none of my work was emergent I did find it to be obnoxious waiting around. I highly recommend Robert and Javier for your electrical work, you will not be sorry.

I am so glad I decided to go with this particular electrician and let me tell you why.....my husband and I have been needing work for I don't know how long so we began to search for electricians in our area. Every time I called and set up estimates, I felt like I was just another check to cash. I never felt comfortable with the pricing or the overall business. Then, we found Current Electric! Robert is hands down thee MOST knowledgable man for this job and not only is he intelligent in what he is doing, he was so caring and nice. He even played with our daughter while he was doing our estimate because she was interested in his tools! Cute!! Ok so here's what we needed and here's what we got:

-replace our ugly lights with recessed can lights in our 3 bedrooms and install a fan in the master bedroom
-replace lights in kitchen
-panel upgrade

Robert was very professional. Any questions I had (and I had a lot) he answered with patience and understanding and gave me his card and said that I could call him anytime we needed him. The price we payed was extremely reasonable and I'm in love with my new house!

I hired Current Electric and Lighting for another job to install recessed cans in my kitchen for lighting, and I am extremely happy with the results. Robert Casillas converted an awful overhead fluorescent fixture into 3 recessed fluorescent cans for general lighting, and they installed 5"" perimeter LED dimable task lighting cans with a separate switch, and 3 dimable pendants over the bar on a third separate switch. Now our kitchen looks great! He and his crew were very professional and accommodating to our needs and last minute changes. They were also able to give us good design advice as well. I will always use Current Electric and Lighting as my electrician resource.
