With over 75 years of experience, Cullum Electric and Mechanical has been a leader in the field. Cullum Electric was founded by Hubert Cullum during the 1930s. Initially, he operated from home before transitioning to a building on Waller Avenue. In the late 1960s, George Smith, Hubert's son-in-law, took ownership and expanded into commercial and industrial heating and cooling services. Cullum Electric later became Cullum Electric AND Mechanical and established its current location on East Durst Avenue. In the late 1980s, George's son, Wade Smith, joined Cullum Electric and Mechanical. He began in the electrical division and later assumed leadership of the service department. He continues to manage the business today with support from John, while George offers guidance and oversees special projects.

All three, Wade, John, and George, hold engineering degrees from Clemson and are licensed contractors in mechanical and electrical fields. They are committed to maintaining Cullum's long-standing tradition of quality heating, cooling, and electrical services and installations.
