Initially, he operated from home before transitioning to a building on Waller Avenue. George Smith, Hubert's son-in-law, became the owner in the late 1960s and introduced commercial and industrial heating and cooling services. The company transformed into Cullum Electric AND Mechanical and relocated to its present site on East Durst Avenue. In the late 1980s, Wade Smith, the son of George, began working with Cullum Electric and Mechanical. He began in the electrical division and later assumed leadership of the service department. Today, he runs the business with John's help, while George provides advice and manages special projects.

All three, Wade, John, and George, hold engineering degrees from Clemson and are licensed contractors in mechanical and electrical fields. They are committed to maintaining Cullum's long-standing tradition of quality heating, cooling, and electrical services and installations.
