The owner John installed recessed lighting that can be dimmed in our living room today.

I called him yesterday, arranged the date and time, and he was here exactly on time with all of the necessary equipment.

He has such a fun personality. It's been my experience that people who do work around your house, while professional, are just that, professional. John was both professional and just so happy and fun!!!
Plus, side note, he's full of information regarding types of lighting you should buy,etc.

I'm putting his company on my list under all things electric. Or as peeps used to say, speed dial. You go Crown Electric!

I don't need to call around for quotes anymore- when I have an electrical issue, I just reach out to John. I've used the services of Crown Electric for about 5 years now, and I can always rely on Crown to get the job done with quick turnaround and within budget.

One of the things I appreciate most is John's creative problem-solving. I described a problem I had with circuit load and imagined he would have to create a new circuit. Once he heard my concerns, he was able to find an easier, cheaper solution that he completed that day. It's been working great ever since. I feel like many companies would be happy to bill you more for work you might not need, but John is always honest and finds solutions that fit your needs and budget.

I've also been happy with John's prompt service. Several times over the years, I've scheduled him to inspect various issues, and he has been able to perform the work right then and there, which saved me the trouble of scheduling another day.

So 11 months later he sends me a message asking how he can make this up to me (i.e., get me to change my review). What on earth does he expect to do 11 months after the fact? I've already hired someone to take care of the issue (and quite well) almost a year ago. There is nothing you can do for me to get me to LIE for you and change my review. This man has no integrity, no scruples, and bad character.

Crown Electric did a great job installing a new electric outlet. It was done in a quick and professional manner. Why not 5 stars? Well its kinda of a nitpick that they don't fix holes made during the job. They told me this but other competitors charge more for the convenience.

John just finished some outdoor electrical work, new wiring to the detached garage (and adding outlets, light socket and switch), and adding an outlet/switch for our outdoor patio lighting. He did an extremely professional job, was communicative through the process, was great with our dog and didn't get annoyed at a teething toddler screaming half of the time. He offered options for various components and even offered to help install a USB outlet in the kitchen that I'd managed to mess up. While his final quote came in higher than our initial scoping visit, it was still a reasonable price for the amount of work. I'll gladly use John again.

John at Crown Electric recently installed five ceiling fans and two designer pendant lights for us. While most of these had existing junction boxes and were straightforward, two required retrofitting new fixtures into the house. I was very impressed that John was able to add these without any additional holes in the wall that required additional patching, even though neither location had full attic access. All seven installations were done very well and correctly in the first attempt.

In addition to the quality work, we found John responsive and easy to communicate with. We mostly used texting which made things really easy and convenient. John was also the only electrician who was able to provide us a quote and schedule the install on his first visit.

I would work with Crown Electric again and recommend them without hesitation.
