BE AWARE of Cross Electric pricing. I give Cross Electric a star because they did come out the same day I called. I had a breaker box out by the pool that has 3 breakers inside and it started smoking. When I showed Brandon our issue he showed me his binder with 6 levels of pricing and he told me my job was a level one which was $304. My misunderstanding was that I thought that was where the job would start from. I did OK the $304. After 10 minutes Brandon came to the door to tell me the job would be $3,445.00 unless to join the Cross Club Membership ($9.95 a month for a minimum of 12 months) for that I would get 15% off the job, my light bulbs and smoke detector batteries changed. I didn't ask if that included light bulbs and batteries. Here are the charges I was quoted:
Permit City of FT Worth. $304.
60- AMP subpanel Surface $1,283.00
DP Arc-Fault Breaker $804.00
SP GFCI standard breaker $304.00
Ground rod & wire $532.00
Gas Hot/cold bond $218.00
TOTAL $3,445.00
When I said I wanted to think about it I was charged a $69.00 dispatch fee, which I thought was fair for coming to the house. After I paid the $69 Brandon came back to the door to collect $304 that he said was a diagnostic fee. He said if I approved the work that day he would decrease the job $304 (diagnostic fee). I felt I need a 2nd opinion, so I paid $373. to have Brandon tell me I have a bad breaker box on our pool equipment. I did ask for the diagnostic report and pictures he took since I paid $304. for it, but I still haven't received that.

Our family unfortunately did not have a good experience with this company. Their electrician came out to our home to look over the problem only to leave to ""go buy supplies"" and never return. After several hours we finally got ahold of someone only to be told that they couldn't perform the task we had asked of them. While we would have been completely understanding of that, the outright lie by the electrician and lack of communication was unacceptable. I would not trust a company this unprofessional.
*** In response to the owner,
It's funny that our phone was ""out of service"" given that the technician was able to call that morning to speak with us and we were able to make multiple outbound calls to said technician only to be ignored. It doesn't excuse the outright lie by that technician to leave the worksite without without having the decency to explain why the work couldn't be done to our face. We had to reach out to the secondary company to be told that it couldn't be done. This response is the first we've even heard of what the ""unsafe"" conditions were. How are we supposed to correct it if we aren't communicated to? Your excuses are just as poor as your professionalism.
***This company clearly discriminates against those with disabilities and mental health issues as we had another company come out to do the work with no complaints or comments about the ""excessive items/trash""
Shame on you. ***

We are so pleased with the work that Cross Electric did for us! Not only were they timely, professional and cost efficient, but they did great work. We had ceiling fans replaced and relocated and they also replaced our outside fixtures. The difference is amazing. We couldn't be happier and will definitely be calling them for any future needs. I HIGHLY recommend Cross Electric!

It's not often that I leave a review about a business, in this case it is absolutely warranted! No job too big or too small for this family owned and operated company. Very competitive pricing, very good value for the price (you have no idea how good of a deal we got), Best Bang For Your Buck Is CROSS ELECTRIC! I highly recommend CROSS ELECTRIC. Ask for Brian, he is the epitome of a true professional and takes pride in his work! I can't thank you enough for going above and beyond for OUR little league baseball team. On behalf of the LIL' DINGERS and myself, Thank You From The Bottom Of Our Hearts!

Cross electric does excellent work. We had some issues with an old breaker box on a Friday evening and they came right out. They were able to keep our lights on over the weekend and came out first thing Monday morning to replace the service. To top it all off they quoted us about $1800 less than the other guys. If you are looking for honest, fair, and incredibly knowledgeable look no further.

Team was very good and was on time! Great pricing as well! Would definitely recommend!
