They were able to send an experienced professional right away. He and an apprentice diagnosed the problem with my 1952 solenoid panel right away, ordered and installed the correct replacement part and were just great.
So what's my problem? I live two miles from the shop. The first visit the two were here for almost an hour, the second, thirty minutes. I was charged six and a half man hours, .the difference is hundreds of dollars. As much as I'm happy with the work, I feel ripped off.

This was a very mixed experience. At first i was excited to have my AC fixed and was quite apprehensive at what the cost would be. So i called them up and requested the service and was reassured that i would not be slapped with a huge bill after as that is not the company they run. If something was gonna cost more than usual than they would let me know. I was silly and said great im looking forward to getting my ac fixed. They said they would call me as soon as they had a chance and take a look at it. They said they would be here by Friday in the morning. I figured sounds great. Well they got busy and sent Tony out to my house on Saturday. Well i didnt even bother to think about it and he asked to take a Look at it on Saturday and not tell me that he would be charging overtime rates. I did not think about refusing the service as i was happy to just have the ac fixed. I said sure go ahead. Well he was not there more than an hour and said he worked two hours on the bill. The bill stated he worked two hours and the rate was higher than what i had been told. Of course i was surprised to see this and called him up and it just so happened i needed more work done. We spoke on the matter of this charge and it felt so unprofessional with their reasons for charging what they did. The reasons kept changing and making me feel more to blame. I just wanted an understanding of the outrage as it was not at all what i expected. So apparently he does not need to tell me his rates if i do not ask. Understandable but i did ask and he did not mention on Saturday or anytime after 3 you will be charged higher rates. I definitely recommend their services as they helped me with my issue. But expect them to avoid telling you everything unless you ask. It was sad to see my good experience immediately become a bad one even after I recommended his company to a couple of people in my workplace. I felt it was unfair to charge what they did when i was unaware of the higher rates and two hour minimum. Sadly left a bad taste in my mouth.

Recently the company changed hands and I am very happy to report that Tony Hernandez, the new owner, is continuing the quality service that we are used to. My wife just finished a complete kitchen remodel that required an electrician's help with lighting and appliance installation. George was our man and his professionalism was without equal.
