I reached out to Fred for a quote on a panel upgrade for my new home. Fred was professional and very knowledgeable about his trade. His prices are reasonable but I did not end up working with Fred simply because I needed to get the service upgrade completed sooner than his workload allowed. I can definitely see myself reaching out to Fred again in the future if I have more electrical needs.

I have one word to describe Fred and his crew - PROFESSIONAL. I first called Fred based on a friend's referral and have been a delighted repeat customer. Communication is excellent. Customer service is excellent. Quality of service is excellent.

I first used CLS to ""creatively"" install some track lights in my raised ceiling, exposed beam living room. I wanted the lights to be installed on the bottom of the beams. Fred cleanly installed the tracks so that NO wires or molding are visible. He carefully drilled an 18"" long hole through the beam so that the track appears to be powered wirelessly!

I also had Fred do a ""big"" job - upgrading our electrical panel to 200 amps. Again his work was performed timely and meticulously.

An added bonus - they clean up after themselves at the end of each workday! A broom and vacuum cleaner are important tools for CLS.

Fred came highly recommended by the interior designer we were working with. Fred and his crew did a fantastic job! He was able to work in between the other work we were having done in our dining room, living room and hallways (paint, floors). He did a great job recommending a lighting design and with the electrical work. He worked hard to get it completed within our aggressive time frame

Fred came highly recommended by a neighbor for a job to upgrade my electrical panel. I met Fred and discussed the work. I knew right away I was talking to a professional with a sense of humor. I was going on vacation and was confident enough to hand over my house keys to Fred. Fred kept me posted with progress and even sent photos of his progress to my phone. He made all arrangements with PGE and followed through with them well after he was already paid. After dealing with contractors, we all know once they're paid, it's almost impossible to have them come back to button up projects. This was not the case with Creative Lighting Solutions, he finished what he started. I already have plans to bring Fred back for smaller projects. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!-

This is my first Yelp review. Fred and his crew just completed recessed lighting at my house. 20+ lights over 3 rooms. They completed the 1 room per day and left the house clean, almost as if nothing happened.

Fred was very responsive and personable. He came by at the end of every night to check on the lights and lighting levels.

Bottom line: fast, clean, and on budget. Would definitely use him again.

About a year ago, Fred and his company upgraded the electrical panel in my mom's house in San Francisco, installed a subpanel on the second floor, and added more outlets in some of the downstairs rooms according to our request. This weekend, I walked through the house with a house inspector who was very thorough, and while he was quick to point out issues with work done by other contractors, he had a lot of admiration for the electrical work. ""I can tell when someone takes a lot of pride in their work,"" he said. Everything was done the right way.

Go, Fred! Great work - and done on time and on budget, too.

Fred is a lighting genius! He scheduled an initial consultation with us right away and he gave us many ideas that we would never have thought of ourselves. We had to have the work completed within two weeks and he easily accommodated our timeframe. His prices are extremely reasonable and we will be calling him again soon to complete more projects!

I can't think of anyone else to perform my electrical projects. Since our move to Foster City, he's been our go to Electrician. Prices are more than fair and work is truly exceptional. Canned lighting in all bedrooms and living room looks fantastic. Surely his work has increased the value of our property and I can't thank him enough. On top of being good at what he does, he's also an avid golden state warriors fan. That alone should persuade anyone to hire him!! ;)
