Excellent company with outstanding customer service. They installed an outlet and a whole home surge protector for me. The only, very minor, ding I would give is a little heavy on the up sell but they didn't push hard and sat patiently while I researched what they suggested. The components are top notch by the way.

I called Cravens Electric because I loss electrical power upstairs in one room and a hallway. After troubleshooting a few plugs and checking the fuse box, the serviceman told me all the electrical wiring in the room was flawed and the electrical box needed to be replaced. He could fix the problem for $1400.00; it would be day's work if he didn't run into other problems. I asked what other problems could there possibly be but did not get a straight answer. He further stated that the work usually costed around $6,000 so $1400.00 was a great deal. With that, I told him I needed a second opinion. I called another certified electrician but did not tell him what the Cravens' serviceman said. He had my lights on in 45 minutes for a total charge of $149.00, approximately 10% of Cravens quoted cost. Stay away from Cravens...get a second opinion. Tricia B

I had a serious electrical issue at my house and after the first company came out and gave me a quote I got back online hoping that the first quote wasn't really the going rate for what I needed! I came across Cravens, thankfully, with great reviews so I gave them a call. Luke came out that day, assessed the problem, and quoted me the same exact work and material as the first co. did for less than half the price. The crew came the next morning and knocked the job out in an impressive amount of time. I was very pleased with Cravens from start to finish and would recommend them highly to anyone in need of electrical work. They were timely, professional, and courteous and not just another rip off business trying to squeeze every penny out of you knowing your in a real bind. THANK YOU CRAVENS!

Cravens did a fantastic job with some fairly serious electrical work at our house. They were always on time and their work and attention to detail was worth every penny. The city inspector even mentioned how great of a job they did.

Our family will definitely use Cravens again in the future.

If I could, I would leave 6 stars. I had an electrical problem in my guest room earlier this year and had another company come in to fix the problem. And then it happened again, both times while guests were visiting from out of town. I didn't want to go back to the original company as they obviously didn't do the job correctly. I then found Cravens Electric from Angie's List and their response time was incredible. I arranged for service the following day and they called twice to update me on the technicians arrival.
My technician was Oscar and he was fantastic! Not only did he explain everything to me giving me options he was incredibly respectful of my home and left his work area neat as a pin.
I would highly recommend Cravens Electric and Oscar to anyone and will most definitely use them again in future.

don't waste your hard earned money on this company folks. These guys charged us over $350 to troubleshoot a problem for us. I told the tech what I thought was the problem and he just replaced a piece. I had the same issue a week later and found the issue was at the switch. They never troubleshot anything and still charged me that ridiculous amount of money. I'll never use this company again.

Lost power upstairs to all the bedroom lights and ceiling fans and plug outlets. Not knowing whether everything else was going to shut off in the summer heat, I made calls and this company was the first one I could reach and agree to come out right away. I am still reeling from the way the service rep kept jacking up the price of what they would do. It was over 500.00 to check the wall plugs and light switches until they found one that caused the problem. The price more than doubled to over 1100.00 to replace them on a single circuit in the house. This was all upstairs; a downstairs ceiling fan/light quit working and they wanted another 240.00 to put up a metal brace box which costs no more than 20.00 anywhere. I didn't want to pay that much more after everything else and had to run out and buy a plain light fixture to put in the ceiling fan's place. The rep kept saying I had to do this or there could be a fire. It remains to be seen whether what they did will be effective. I have some other electrical issues that need attention but I'm going to look for someone with more reasonable prices to do it.

Reliable, honest, clean, & efficient. Replaced 12 light fixtures in our master bathroom and mapped our breaker box for us. I've been working with Justin Cravens for 12 years and have always been pleased. (The one time we used a different electrician, provided by our contractor, it was a mess with work having to be redone several times.)

I recently had an issue with a couple of electrical outlets in my kitchen and contacted Cravens Electric. They were kind enough to fit me into their schedule so that I could receive same day service. The electrician was Chris and he was extremely professional and was able to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. I will definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to refer my friends and family. Excellent customer service and quality work!!

After talking with five electricians who either never showed up for our appointments or said they could not figure my wiring out, I was nervous about paying the cost to have someone come out, in case they couldn't get the job done.

I asked if I could bring my gate opener to Cravens Electric, so they could take a look. Justin allowed me to come first thing in the morning, and said if he couldn't do anything, he wouldn't charge me the consultation fee. He wired my machine in just ten minutes (the same machine others couldn't figure out), gave me the next steps as to how the machine should be hooked up properly, and instructions on where to go and what to buy so the rest of the process wasn't expensive. Cravens' price was great, and I am so happy to finally have that part of my project finished.

I will use Cravens Electric again and recommend them to anyone I know who needs electrical work. I'll post a good review of this company everywhere I can.
