Goes to show, you can't always trust GLOWING REVIEWS ON YELP because after claiming he was a ""general contractor"" as well as an electrician, I hired him (to do some electrical work) and his crew to finish my tiny bathroom renovation. He told me his guy ""does everything"" as in tiling. It turns out, his guy was learning ""on my job!"" Because of the unacceptable grout job, I had to remove and redo grout on shower walls. The floor of my shower, where I had pebbles installed, was grouted with the mortar mix used to install the pebbles! They also showed NO professionalism in cleaning up the job site at the end of the day, until I brought it up to Christian AND DID NOT BOTHER TO PROTECT THE ADJOINING BEDROOM FROM ALL THE DUST during a drywall installation! I even advanced him money because I was so confident in him at first. But after recently reminding him that he'd promised me the 'unused' portion back and hearing only crickets, I am now reminding him, YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT KARMA, CHRISTIAN.

Just had them come over and clean my split level AC units. Fantastic work! It's so clean now and operates like new! Very professional and timely! And reasonably priced. Definitely will call on them again!

Chris and his crew completed a wide variety of jobs for me this weekend, several upgrades my wife and I had been thinking about for some time. New light fixtures, a new door, some outlets, doorbell chimes and a camera for the door.

Chris and company completed each job beautifully and efficiently for a price that my wife and I were very happy with. Very professional and very accommodating when we kept adding stuff for them to do. :) 10/10 would recommend and will call again when we need upgrades in the future.

I had a very different experience with Rabang Consulting. I accepted the job and gave it a try because of the great things I read. I am glad the renovations I have had to deal with in all of April is now complete.

Christian / RABANG Consulting did an excellent job with my electrical work alongside his crew specifically CJ. It took a while to get a quote but when I did get one, I accepted the job because it was well within my budget.

Christian referred me to a cabinet / counter top business (oriental cabinets) because he understood I was tackling a kitchen Reno. The quotes I received was again in my budget but I was very disappointed with the final cost because there were some things that were left out. Big miss communication on Christians part. So I ended up paying just a bit more but I didn't mind because the work came out pretty good.

The counter top measurements were also measured wrong but I'm learning to deal with it because of the turn out of the work.

Renovations can be rather difficult. Make sure you get all the answers you are looking for.

He is super professional and patient. He took the time out to explain how my solar panels worked , he went into more detail than then actual
company who installed my panels. He also checked on my solar water heater to see if it operating as it should. Thank you Christian for translating the electrical language into layman's term. I feel a lot more knowledgeable and a lot more confident. I'll will now be scheduling and appt soon to clean my ac units. For all electrical needs my these guys have my vote!!!!

Rabang Consulting really helped us out this past Sunday, did an excellent job, went above and beyond the call of duty to get HECO involved in solving our problem, and then undercharged us compared to what we'd been quoted! Christian just radiates calm and competence and I couldn't be happier with his work.

We came home from a mainland trip late Saturday to find that half the circuits in our house were off, some of the lights were dimly flickering instead of going on, and nothing on 240V would work. Initially we thought it was our solar PV system, but the solar guy who came to look at it Sunday morning disconnected it and showed us the problem was still there and coming directly from the HECO panel - one of the 2 120V ""legs"" was fluctuating and only at half voltage at best.

We called Rabang Consulting, and Christian was there within a couple hours and immediately replaced the 100A house breaker (which was very old and had seemed like it might be the problem.) When that didn't solve it, he explained to us the other areas where the problem might lie, either on the meter side of the HECO panel, or in the HECO feed to the house. Then he called HECO directly and talked to people there so he could correctly describe the problem for us, and got them to come out as soon as possible. The first HECO electrician found two problems in their main cable to the house and called in another crew to restring a new cable from the pole, which fixed everything. Christian charged us 20% less than he'd quoted on the phone, even though without him all of this would have taken much longer.

Getting all of this dealt with so quickly totally saved our week. I recommend him to anyone.

P.S. FWIW we live in Kalihi Valley and he was happy to serve us there.

To anyone who lives out on the west side of Oahu: I'VE FINALLY FOUND THE ELECTRICIAN WHO IS RELIABLE & HONEST!!! FINALLY!!!! If any of you need assistance with resolving electrical issues (lights, outlets, circuit breakers, etc.) in your houses & apartments, Christian Rabang (426-3588) is the guy to resolve it all!!! Family, this guy is someone you really want when you need your electricity issues fixed!!!

He was referred to me by a friend of mine, and Christian had immediately helped me with resolving my issue which consumed no more than an hour.

It doesn't stop there, Christian actually gave me a quick lesson regarding the cause(s) & effect(s) that pertained to my reported issue.

Most Electricians show up, perform either a complete/half complete job, take your money, and then leave without providing you a solid explanation about your issue.

Thank you Christian Rabang!!! I'll definitely give you a shout again if something happens with my home electricity!!!
