Mike and his team upgraded our electrical panel and the process couldn't have been any smoother. From getting the permits to scheduling all of the players involved (city of San Jose and PG&E) Mike did it all. He came to our house before the scheduled day to do all the work he could and on the day everything went like clockwork and the new electrical panel was inspected and turned back on by 4:30. We had started this process with another electrician first but something got all messed up with the permitting, which is when we decided to go with a pro and we're glad we did.

TLDR: Mike and his team made the whole process of switching out my main electric panel such a breeze. They were on time, great at communicating to set the correct expectations, and overall SO easy to work with. I would go with Courtesy Electric for any and all future electric works around my house.

My house had a very outdated and dangerous main panel (the recalled FPE one--yikes), so my partner and I wanted to get it replaced. This house previously had a pool, so we had underground cables instead of overhead lines. This alone was the reason multiple electricians declined the project, as it required coordination with PG&E to determine whether they were willing to install a new overhead cable.

Mike came out to assess the situation and voiced similar concerns as other electricians. However, he was curious and willing to work with PG&E to find a solution. He scheduled and handled everything with PG&E without even taking payment upfront (in case PG&E declined) and kept me updated throughout the process. He also helped schedule inspection appointments with the city so we could obtain the proper permits, and explained in detail why and what was being done.

Everything went smoothly despite the challenges. I'm forever grateful to Mike and his team for the amazing job they did--we'll definitely be sticking with Courtesy Electric in the future!

I had a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed for my electric car wall charger. Mike V. was fantastic to work with; he was prompt in responding to questions, explained in detail the type of work and why it's needed, and was the best value of all the bids. After the first conversation and some additional research, I got lazy about my project and told Mike I am going to wait for sometime, and Mike was very courteous and explained what factors I should think of in the future. So when I decided to finally install the unit, courtesy electric was the obvious choice. Installation on the appointment day was super-quick and clean.
