In 1986, Jose Cortes launched his career as an Aviation Electrician in the Navy. Post-Navy, he gained experience as an electrician, leading to the creation of Cortes Electric Inc. in 2004. Motivated by his love for the craft and his children, he founded this business. He finds fulfillment in making clients' dreams and visions a reality through his electrical expertise. As a Master Electrician, he is dedicated to his craft.

Al B.I had my home electric service relocated and upgraded. My home was built in the 1950s and had an above ground electrical access with 200A service. I hired Cortes Electric to relocate the service meter to the other side of my home, provide the power underground, and to upgrade my available power to 400A.
Penny (Office Mgr) was easy to work with and kept me aware of various steps (crew starts, unexpected delays, permit inspections, etc). Jose (Owner and Electrician) had a respectful crew on site.
When the project was completed, I was presented a Release of Lein and a receipt for complete payment. The contract was completed as discussed.
I have both referred him to others and am discussing future electric work.
