I needed recess Lighting in my office warehouse and my office in Santee. I called three different electrical contractors in the area and found Core Electric to be the most knowledgeable and professional.
At the end of the project I was very happy with the quality and timeliness of the finished work.
Will definitely be calling them for future electrical needs at my home as well as my office.

This was the worst! About 1 month and a half ago Craig come over to our place as an ""emergency charge"" for after hours. He did so much ""troubleshooting"" to no avail. Finally, per my husband who was following him around, he pulled some wire and our electricity magically came on. He kept saying how happy he was with his work. Fast forward to today. We had the same issue. So being that he knew our problem, we went with him again. He scheduled for noon because that's when a drywaller was available to join him. Well, he shows up. No drywaller with him as he said he cancelled. He then began the same process as last time even though he already did this last time and already knew what he needed to do (hence bringing the drywaller). He said more than 3 times how this was going to take him 6-7 hours. In an hour and a half, that's all that got done. He just talked my husbands ear off and repeated himself endlessly. Finally, He told my husband that he would have to pay him for this and place a deposit for him to come back tomorrow, possibly with a drywaller.
My husband asked him to leave, and after a while, he did. He seemed like he had beginners knowledge at best when it comes to electrical work. Don't use.

WHEN YOU CALL- Craig installed 12 outlets in my garage at every location I asked for and even pointed out a few spots I hadn't considered for my garage project. Craig is a very friendly, personable guy (looks like Jeremy Renner's stunt double) with the knowledge and expertise to fix or improve anything electrical that your house may need. Thanks Craig!

Was having problems with lights and outlets going on and off sporadically .
We were concerned that it might be a fire hazard .
We had an electrician friend look at the panel and he said we would probably have to replace the entire breaker box with Main Meter .
That sounded very expensive .
We called Core Electric and they were able to repair the panel without replacing it .
They saved us thousands of dollars and even gave us a great warranty on the repairs !
We will definitely be recommending Core Electric to our friends .

Craig at Core Electric came out to my home on a holiday to give me a quote and after a few minutes of talking I knew I had found a reliable, experienced electrician. Not only did he get the job done at a fair price point, he offered his help and gave suggestions when it came to some of the projects around my house. 5 - Stars! for Core Electric. The owner, Craig, explained in detail what was probably the issue with an electrical problem going on at my folks house when I called him in search of a good and honest electrician. Turns out he is both!

He also was totally clear about his rates, so I scheduled him for the next day. Great service and availability are key when your electrical system is having issues, and you are an older couple. Craig arrived at 10 am the next day and fixed a breaker in no time. He also took the time to listen to my Mom tell the entire story about their microwave,....the switch flipping...their fridge losing power [and I am sure where the bought the GE microwave; the warranty] I wasn't there for the appt., but following it, my Mother called me and was super happy with Core Electric. Also! just like the other Yelpers have said, his rate was very reasonable!

***on a side note for those of you looking through the reviews and making a choice on electrician; beware of the one negative review for this contractor by an, ""N G"". This person has complained in most all of his reviews - and he even gave only 1 star to the American Museum of Natural History!! he is a big complainer and has no friends on Yelp..ok he has two. I did not let this one review stop me from scheduling with Craig***

Craig spent 2 and a half hours at my Mother's house, even assisting and answering questions on her microwave - and charging a low flat fee period.

This is just one of many 5--star reviews for a reason. I would not hesitate to call Core Electric for all things electrical in the future!

Our light wasn't working, so we thought we would replace it with a new light. However after installing the light, it still wouldn't work. We then contacted Craig, and he was able to come the very next day. When he got here, he switched on the light, and it suddenly started working! We were super embarrassed, but Craig was very understanding and helpful, and only charged us a small fee for making him come all the way out to our house. He also finished up the installation of the chandelier and told us that if the problem came back, that he would credit the small fee toward the next visit. Overall a very positive experience!

Core Electric was one of 6 different Electric companies that I called out for an estimate to upgrade my panel box . They were right in the middle on the pricing , but what was different with Craig is his knowledge and patience on explaining step by step on what to expect during the job . Everybody else was so eager to give me a price and leave right away. Craig didn't leave until he answered all my questions . So I gave my buisness to Core Electric they finished up yesterday right on time like they said . So I thought that everyone should know of my experience . Thank You Craig for being so clean and for being so polite with my kids and wife . I'm going to recommend you to all my friends and family .

Contacted Craig over the phone and set up a quote. Arrived professional and quoted a fair price. Unfortunately due to time constraints I went with another company. Big mistake. When that company completed the job they added costs that were never discussed with me.

Any electrical work I need done in the future, I'll be giving Craig a call.
