I’ve spent the last 15 years working throughout DFW as a licensed electrician. Upon receiving my master license in 2010, I started planning on the day I would launch my own electrical company. Throughout my career, I have learned effective practices and what doesn’t. Providing top-quality service at an accessible price is my mission. No upselling! I strive to be an electrician you can trust and share with friends and family rather than one who leaves you feeling overcharged. My wonderful wife, Kelly, oversees the office while I am the expert you will see at your door. You can be assured who you’re inviting into your home!
Copper Creek Electric is a new company with traditional values. We believe in giving back!

We were having issues with breaker continuously tripping, Ben T. & his wife methodically went through attic to make sure it was not a short in wire from breaker to outlet and presented us with options on what we could do to remedy situation all within code. Both very pleasant to work with. Arrived as scheduled and true to the original rough estimate and also got military discount. We are pleased with results.

Very pleasant experience from the appointment setup to the actual work completion. Ben and Candace were very accommodating, trying to fit me in as soon as they could. When they arrived, Ben quickly assessed my issue with my dryer, and had me up and running in 30 minutes. The charge for the work was very reasonable. Just very honest people. I have found my new go-to electrician. O

Ben at Copper Creek Electric has been my good-to electrician for a few years now. He recently replaced five ceiling fans. As always, he and his wife do an outstanding, completely professional job. I could not be happier with the work his company does.

Copper Creek Electric has been my to go company for the last couple of years. Their response time is usually within an hour. And they have always been honest and upfront with any of my repairs. Ben has always been very helpful and always letting me know if I'm up to code with things in my house. He replaced a outdated circuit board and had it done in a few hours. Today Candace and Ben came out and replace some lights and fans that were taken out when my house was struck by lightning. They are both so friendly and easy to talk to and very professional. Ben even did some work that I didn't know that was needed in my attic. He is always looking after his customers. And to me that states professionalism of the highest degree. You definitely will not be unhappy with any of their services they provide.

This has to be one of the most sketchiest and unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. If it were possible to give no stars then I would.
I was connected with Copper Creek Electric through the Home Depot Pro service. I just needed to get an electrical outlet installed next to a projector. Next thing I know, I get a text from a random number of when and where to schedule a meeting. Let me start of by saying that Ben was accommodating saying he could do the project. However, his wife, who I believe was the individual texting me was extremely rude. My appointments were delayed three times and I asked to have my estimate lowered for compensation. I requested multiple breaks from work to make sure I am present for the appointment. So I would say it's fair to ASK for a lower rate. I have not even gotten to the best part yet.
The reason I was inclined to write this review was a rude text that was mistakenly sent by his wife to me. It was intended to be sent to Ben, her husband. I understand you are a small business, but try to at least act like you care for your customers. She basically cancelled my appointment and ended things there. I ended up getting the job done by someone else for 2/3 of the price.

Just scheduled my third appointment with Cooper Creek and realized I hadn't submitted a review before now. I have found them to be professional and extremely courteous. Each time they have an appointment they have been on time and stuck to their estimate. It helps to know they are available for all kinds of electrical work and all size of projects.
Have recommended them multiple times!!

We've used Ben twice and are happy with his professional attitude, attention to detail and price. He is a US Navy veteran and it shows in his old school work ethic. 100% satisfied.

Ben is a pleasure to work with and always reliable. Fair pricing and great work. Top of the heap electrician.

If I could give no stars, I would ...
We have been working with Ben the last several weeks now to update a few things in our new home. I was so excited to finally find a skilled electrician because as we all know, good help is hard to find. To my surprise and disgust, I was left extremely disappointed at the level of customer service and the rudeness mu fiance and I received.
Originally we reached out to Ben to add some outlets to add some security cameras, all went well in the end and we were so pleased with the work that we wanted to get more work done, specifically change out our main living room fan and add canned lighting.
My fiance and I scheduled with Ben and Candace to get our fan changed out. Mind you it is a fan that is on a high ceiling, over 20 feet, so there needs to be a specific type of ladder used. Come the week of our appointment we were informed that Ben had an accident and could not make our appointment. We completely understood and rescheduled a month from our original appointment.
On the day of our rescheduled appointment, we recieve a text message in the morning saying that he does not have the ladder that he needs to do the job. In the text he said the place he rents these specific types of ladders from was sold out for the day. To me that is an honest mistake on his part and we planned to reschedule the following week. However, along with changing out our fan he was also coming to give us a quote on canned lighting. We asked him to still come out to give us a quote on the canned lighted and all we get back via text message is 'NOT TODAY'.
That message did not make sense to me because we had an appointment with him, so why could he not come out like he was supposed to? So like any normal human being I text him back and ask why not today. We also expressed our frustration with the level of customer service given that we had waited over a month for him instead of finding a new electrician to do the work. We got a text back saying ...
""This is Ben and I really don't want to go out of my way and drive out to Irving with a 250 lb ladder I have to load and unload. At this time we will respectfully decline and hopefully you will find another electrician who services Irving with the equipment needed.""
Some may think you could appreciate his level of honesty, but I think it is so disrespectful from a customer point of view, especially a repeat customer. IF HE DID NOT WANT TO DO THE JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE THAN WHY MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WITH US TO DO IT? Why not 'respectably decline' and let us move on and find another electrician?
I don't care about the fan or even the amount of time we had to wait, it was just the level of disrespect I felt as a customer being told he really did not want to do the job after making us wait over a month.

Ben and Candace are a great team. Courteous and professional and down to earth good people. I found a special on Angie's list for labeling my panel and testing all outlet and switches and there were 209 great reviews and I can totally see why! Ben and Candace took the time to answer all my questions and gave me detailed information that I so appreciated. They were able to explain some of the mystery switches and plugs! Ben gave me a broken down line by line estimate for must haves and things that would be good to have done but not critical. I am having everything fixed. Their prices are great!
