Cool Today has been dishonest from day 1. The salesman sold my parents 2 industrial strength AC units for a 1,500 sqft condo. My parents were 79 and 80 at the time and believed the salesman to be honest when he suggested two wildly oversized AC units.

That's the beginning. Since that time, service and repairs have been needed, tonight being a fix to the brand new thermostat placed in the second floor.

If you want or need an HVAC replacement, repair, or redo... don't. Do Not call Cool Today. Why? Because you won't be! You won't be cool today or tomorrow...

Unless of course you pay the $59.00 service fee each time to come out and fix what should have never broke in the first place.

I bought a new air conditioning unit from COOL TODAY 10 years ago. I had a maintenance warranty for $149 a year. And every time they came out toand every time they came out to check on unit, I ALWAYS need something!... a UV light yada yada.. I did this for 10 years because I wanted to extend the life of my air conditioner/. apparently it didn't work. The compressor blew up yesterday. A service man from COOL TIDAY came out... and priced a new compressor at $7000. he said I would be better off buying a new unit. The first air conditioning unit I looked at was $17,000! I'm DONE WITH COOL TODAY! there are no repairman... they are SALESMEN!

Sold us a lemon. AC didn't work right for first two years. Kept needing refrigerant. Finally replaced coil in Air handler. Then the capacitor went bad and system was down again. At year 6 another major component, the compressor goes bad a $3000 expense out of my pocket. Quality assurance dept was a waste of time. They told me they couldn't help me in any way. Don't do business with this company. They will rip you off!

He was able to access the problem quickly and was able to solve the electrical issue even quicker. His help and advice was outstanding. I would give him not 5 but 6++stars for honesty, quality of work, speed, knowledge and his friendly and pleasant demeanor.

Cool Today recently replaced three parts of our AC Unit (capacitor, contactor and compressor saver) and charged nearly $1,000 for the repair job. I contacted the firm by email to enquire about the warranty on the parts and waited for more than one week (8 days to be accurate) for their reply. Unfortunately nothing showed up in the ""Inbox"". I had to call them this afternoon for the information. Two ladies of the customer service gave me contradictory answers - one saying there is no warranty on both parts and service while the other telling me warranty is totally up to management discretion. I paid $976 for the job, which is significantly higher than what other AC firms quoted (I made enquires about similar jobs to other AC companies afterwards.) My legitimate question is what is the threshold for warranty services - the $2,000 job, or $5,000 one, or $10,000 one? Can they be transparent and post such policy on their website instead of being ""management discretion""? I deem their charge is exorbitant, service poor, and attitude arrogant. This is my first encounter with Cool Today and unfortunately it turned out to be a sheer shock! This seems to be an expensive and meaningless mistake that we, unfortunately, have learnt in a hard way!

AC blower stopped working just as the hot weather hit. Called several places but their wait times were a bit too long as the temps were going even higher.
Called Cool Today, spoke with a very pleasant woman and she i9nformed me that a tech would be able to come over in the afternoon.
Well, John E. showed up just about at 5:30PM and immediately went to work.
Presto-changeo he got the blower to work and we now have AC back in our house.
Thank you John and the Cool Air folks for making our lives comfortable again.

I wish I could give them 0 stars, as they don't deserve the one it puts here. These people must be more professional and willing to help you once you have signed an agreement; it is up to them.
The plumbing ""manager,"" or so is the title he has.. he is nasty. He rolled his eyes at me because I wanted an answer, and he didn't want to work. He is full of excuses and no solutions. He saw my email but has not responded because he gave zero shoes about it. For their negligence, I have six residents with no water, and they will not help us get back on track.
Believe me, their actions have not only cost them my business but also the business of anyone I encounter in the industry. I am determined to share my negative experience with others, which could result in a significant loss of reputation and revenue for them.
