We have used Cool Plumbing Today twice. The master plumber was knowledgeable and responsive but the crew that did the work either cancelled or were late for the appointments several times. It was always difficult to discuss the job with the plumbers and to reschedule as the work is dispatched from the home office in Sarasota. The first job was fairly complicated and they did good work once they got to it so we decided to use them again. The second job involved rerouting a lavatory drain to connect it to the existing sewer line. When they cut into the cast iron sewer line, they broke off a piece of the pipe and it fell into the line and got stuck. They had to come back a week later (when the toilet backed up) to retrieve the hunk of broken pipe. To do so, they had to dig up the line under a slab and buried in the yard. When the inspector came (4 months later!), he failed the job because they had not properly vented the lavatory drain line and had covered the ditch before being inspected. They challenged the inspector's findings and corrective actions as being unnecessary but after a few phone calls to the inspector, reluctantly corrected the vent error and dug up the line again so that it could all be reinspected. Eventually, it all passed but ended up causing me and the inspector a lot of aggravation and it cost their company money to correct their errors. Won't use this company again.

I reached out to Plumbing Today after seeing an ad on TV for drain clearing services. I went on their website and read the same about their drain clearing service. When I called to make an appointment (I had a slow sink drain) I was told they are only making appointments for customers with whom they have a contract. Seriously? A Tab ad, plus the website, and no mention of this? What a waste of my time.

We dropped them after two visits that we paid for because they would tell us we needed all kinds of repairs.

SKIP SKIP SKIP, horrible customer services/ they do not care about you time/ I have been calling them for 3 days already to request for the inspection/permit of a job they did/. but since they already got paid/ there is no incentive for them to call you/or pick up the phone/ SKIP SKIP/ if you really value your time skip and find a better company

Poor customer service! Refused to repair cut landline wires after doing a complete panel replacement. ""They"" (supervisor or someone to busy to answer a call) resolve a mistake that ""They"" want me to pass off and contact Frontier for repair on my time, schedule to be home during repair on my time, and send the bill from Frontier to ""They"" for reimbursement. This was the response the young lady was told to tell me because ""They don't understand the meaning of ""Customer Service"" and response to the mistake ""They"" made! Not to mention that cutting my house landline wire is not covered under the $399 Total Care agreement that ""They"" included in my package. ....so what is included? Proof Pictures!

ZERO stars! Techs arent honest, all they want to do is leave then write up estimates for more work then you need. Do not trust them!

They are terrible at providing customer service and complains. We had a technician Edward Sanchez come by and look at our AC 4/16/2021. He said it would be fine if we fixed the AC. So we went ahead and spent the last of our stimulus money on fixing it. The very next day the AC wouldn't cool the home 4/17/2021. So we had another technician look at it named Ryan Van Alstyne 4/19/2021. Who told us that our AC was broken and would cost $900 to fix it. He recommended that our AC unit would keep giving us problems. Mind you we already spent a quarter of the cost of a 14 row AC. I have called and called numerous times since April 19th and we have yet to receive any calls back. That they promised me. It seems that they do not want to contact us to provide us a refund nor a guaranteed Credit within the 30 day period they promised us. I would highly not recommend this establishment.

Completely lied to me about needing a brand new AC. Tried to get me to pay 10k. Got a second opinion and the next company fixed it in about 10 minutes and it works great.
