DISHONEST!
We called Cool Air when our regular HVAC company could not get out quickly to check our unit. Their technician claimed my air conditioning unit was completely blown but was holding a silver canister while telling me this. Kept asking us to feel the motor to see how hot it was and that it was a fire hazard if we kept this air conditioning unit. Of course it was hot - it was 92 degrees outside that day and the fan had been running to try to cool the house. The air was blowing cool air inside but not enough to cool the house. Turns out that little silver canister was all that needed replacing and this scammer was lying to us saying we needed a new unit. STAY AWAY!!!

Very poor customer service. After we had a unit installed we called the sales team and it took over 3 weeks for them to call us back after multiple messages. The prices are higher than competitors and they try to up-charge different services during service calls.

We bought a bigger unit based on the sales pitch and later learned we didn't need it.

kudos to Chad in the Cool Air office and Mitchell, their installer for my new water heater. I replaced a 15 year old unit. my closet space was very small for the size water heaters are manufactured today. and challenging to get an efficient one for that space too but with Chad's advice along the way and Mitchell's excellent installation, i'm set, hopefully for another 15 years. I contacted 4 or more plumbers and no one really seemed interested in making the sale nor did they offer much advice to help me find a model that would fit. I highly recommend this company.

We have been really happy with Cool Air Mechanical for some time now.

They are honest about the lifespan of our current systems (we purchased a renovated house built in the 1980s) and are working with us to ensure we can extend the life of the original units. When our blower blew out recently and started making a really disturbing noise, they sent a very capable technician out to replace the motor.

Nima was ON TIME, respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough. He showed me what was going on and explained what he had done once he completed his work. He had me run the system while he was still in my home to ensure that I was satisfied.

This could not have been easier or more satisfying.

We just had replaced two complete and separate home hvac systems with brand new Lennox 2 stage 17 seer cooling and heating systems. They did a fine job with that.
This review is focused on their duct cleaning maintenance service that followed a few days after the above mentioned remove and replacement.
Cool Air Mechanical Ducting cleaning brochure states in part ""....technicians connect a powerful vacuum to our Hepa Filter System. This vacuum collects the dislodged contaminants and disposes of it in a hopper in the Hepa Filter.""
The techs connected their Hepa filter to one the system only; never to the second system.
To restate, the second unit was not hooked up to the ""powerful vacuum Hepa Filter"". Rather, the ""dislodged containments"" were filtered 100% directly though this brand new system. So, the debris was pulled through the new heating and cooling coils using the new system, filter, etc.,not their ""powerful vacuum.
I was told the service for 2 units would take 3 hours. The technicians were in and out in 1.5 hours.

It is interesting to read the reviews. Guess people only write reviews of really good or or really bad experiences. We signed up for a fall tuneup at Costco. That went very well - there was one problem but it was obviously there with one of our units and the service rep explained clearly and replaced a minor part. The heating worked great.

We got a note about our spring tuneup a week ago reminding us we had already paid for it and scheduled for yesterday. We got a two hour window not ""sometime that day we can't say when"" which I have had to get used to. The rep, Barry, called 10 minutes before arriving to alert us and arrived at the beginning of our two hour window. He was both highly courteous and professional. While he was very efficient with his work he also took the time to explain what he was doing and made suggestions about improvements I could do myself.

Our experience with this firm - with two different reps - has been stellar. We plan to sign up for another year. Note that we were not pressured or even requested to sign up during the visit or my setup call to schedule the service. And no there was no bribe to write this review. If there had been one we would not have written a review.

Happy customer here.

Jeeez, I'm with the other reviewer. I couldn't even get passed their website. What a mess!

They really need a professional website and some pricing. And, why not train your people to give basic pricing information like all the other companies?

Setting up a whole Chat just to get someone's phone number because you can't provide them w/ any relevant information is a waste of time.

Ppl don't have a lot of time these days and when other companies want the business and provide detailed info and pricing- ppl will go elsewhere. Like me.

Chris came over to my house this morning and was extremely helpful with my furnace. With all of the cold temperatures lately it stopped working all of the sudden and I just didn't know what to do. He was nice and explained what had happened and instructed me on what to do if it happened again. He was on time for the appointment and I would recommend Cool Air Mechanical to others. Great service and polite.

After receiving a recommendation of a neighbor we contacted Cool Air Mechanical for a furnace tune up. Steven, the Senior Service Technician, was prompt in his arrival for our tune-up and took his time to explain a few minor repairs that would help our unit run smoother including a duct cleaning. We were able to schedule our repairs and duct cleaning one week later (which was surprising considering fall/winter is their busy heating season). Today- Joshua, our duct cleaner, arrived to clean the ducts. He explained the process and even showed me the debris that was collected during the cleaning. Steven also returned to make an additional modification to our unit that he had recommended on his tune-up.
As first time homeowners, we really appreciated the time that both employees took to educate us on the unit, as well as, the work they performed. Both employees called prior to their arrival with an ETA, arrived during their scheduled appointment window and were courteous and educational during their appointments. Highly recommend Cool Air Mechanical for your Air & Heating needs!

Finally, I will add that I had originally contacted a competitor company who came out for the same routine tune up... their estimate included a full furnace replacement with estimates from 11-17K depending on unit. Seeking a second opinion since we had never noticed any issues with our unit- we contacted Cool Air (whom of course did not recommend unit replacement!) The technicians and customer service was out of this world compared to the competition. Both my husband & myself felt that Cool Air was genuine and honest versus recommending costly services and bait/switch tactics that we distastefully saw from their competition. We will now remain trustworthy Cool Air Customers!
