This review is based on a new home installation of audiovisual, video doorbell, security cameras, and remote lighting controls. They exceeded our expectations on quality, timeliness, and cost. Jimmy from an administrative side and Junior on the installation were both professional and timely. Any follow-ups as expected are promptly responded to. Can't thank them enough.

I needed two ceiling fans installed and Control Freaks had a technician coming out within 24 hours of my request. Jared did an excellent job taking down the old Fans and replacing with the new ones. I am very pleased with the work and I would recommend Control Freaks electricians to do any work necessary that you may need for your home. Chris Levine

Control Freaks are extremely competent and the pre-sales experience was really positive. However, we were left a bit disappointed with how they have handled the customer service since the install. Our issues were understandable... ex: they recommended a TV that ended up too small for the space, so when we asked to install a larger TV (which we would expect to pay the difference), we went back and forth several times. They would not credit us for $ already spent towards original TV spec, when they were the ones who recommended the smaller. Eventually, they did the right thing and installed the new TV. Also, we asked for onsite visit to walk us thru the system and how to use the controllers, yet only to be told that we either wait 2 weeks or pay $150/mo subscription for advance care and then $150/hr for someone to come out. Their explanation was then that we were outside of a 90-day warranty period...however, we are seasonal residents and it was installed when we were not there, so the ""clock"" for our warranty began 2 months before we could even inspect or use the new system. I would recommend CFH, but ask questions about cost for service + install warranty period up front.

Fabulous customer service! Kyle responded to our call very promptly. He had a day full of appointments and he went out of his way to head over to our place early before he started his scheduled appointments. We had a power outage in our condo unit, with no other units affected. He came to our property and discovered a problem with the main shut off outside. He fixed the problem and got our power back on within an hour. I highly reccomend Kyle and Control Freaks Hawaii, we will definitely use this company again and have passed out cards to all of our neighbors as Kyle exceeded our expectations.

Outstanding service!!!! I had a total loss of power in my unit and needed help immediately as I had a guest that just arrived. I called several (like 7 or 8) companies that were ""recommended"" but they either did not answer or was booked out several weeks and could not stop by. I called Control Freaks and got an answer immediately. They were also very busy but Kyle happened to be working nearby so he said he'd stop by and at least take a look. He quickly found a rather difficult issue that was not easily identified. I was super impressed and had the power back on within the hour. The price was extremely competitive if not a little less than what I would have expected from the ""other"" guys. I can honestly say that I found my go to company for any electrical issues I may have in the future. Thanks again to Kyle and Control Freaks. Great job!!!!

The company was able to schedule my repairs the next day. Was prompt, courteous and efficient. Even vacuumed the work area when done.

I had some minor electrical work that needed to be done in our home and Control Freaks came recommended by the cable guy who came to our house. I decided to request a quote through Yelp. To be honest I wasn't expecting such a quick response. I had requested quotes via Yelp or calling a few companies before reaching out to them, but no one had responded yet.

Control Freaks responded almost immediately but I didn't even know until a few days later because I somehow missed the notification from Yelp that I had a message for them. I called them back and was able to schedule them to come over and give us a quote, but had to cancel since our neighbor was able to help us with the situation.

I still wanted to come back and leave a good review and recommendation for those who need electrical work done. They were so prompt and friendly in our correspondence that if I ever did need electrical work done in the future I will definitely be contacting them again.

I was really impressed by the quality of service provided by ControlFreaks Hawaii. I wanted all the wires and cables for my TV's hidden. It was an even larger job than they originally anticipated, but no complaining and they stuck to their original estimate.

I would highly recommend them for all home automation jobs. I look forward to working with them again when I design and build a new home.
