I can't stress how great these guys are .. literally came in last with a order over 2k and these guys helped me through the whole process and even corrected some mistake and walked me patiently through everything. It's funny people talking bad about them obviously you just came in, in a bad mood because everyone employee here was at the highest level of service and hospitality. Can't say thank you enough.

I had to take the time to vent how upsetting dealing with these CED employees are. I'd called to get a quote and got a return voicemail 2 days later. So I call back, but the sales person is too busy to talk but says he'll call back in a few minutes. So I wait an hour and I call again, but he just left for lunch for 1 more hour. No one else I talk to can tell me pricing, because every employee keep personal and private notes. So I express to how annoyed I am, and surprisingly get a call back instantly.

I'd found the same item I wanted from another supplier for $176. and CED's price for the same item is $287. My original goal was simply price comparison.

So poor customer service, and if I were persistent on buying from them; they'll sell for a 65% higher price then other suppliers. It seems like selling was a inconvenience to all of them.

It's unfortunate anyone has had a bad experience here, I would give them another chance. I'm an electrian who does job large and small all over San Diego County and have always counted on these guys and they always come through. I can order over the phone or in person and they always know what fitting, cable or hardware I'm talking about and they get it right every time. I agree it's a little expensive but your paying to get it right and it saves time and money. Just for the record I have no affiliation I just need these guys to be around for a long time to keep me up and running.

Went to CED yesterday and have to say, it was one of the worst experiences I've had at a store recently. The entire store is extremely disorganized and messy. The employee working was very rude and I would have gone elsewhere if I had another option. Pricing also seems high as the connector I needed costs over $6 here, where I can get a pack of 10 on Amazon for under $6. Overall, I would not recommend supporting this business.
