We had a mysterious power outage in a portion of our house that seemed to be breaker related but we couldn't figure it out and had run out of ideas. We called Conoley, received a quick response and they were able to come the next morning. They fixed our issue promptly, provided a clear description of what went wrong and charged us a fair price. I recommend them highly

Rhett has been involved in work at my house since 2004. i looked back into my Quicken to realize he had done 3 small projects prior to working with us on a major remodel several years ago. All of Rhett's work was well thought out and completed on time. Meanwhile, whenever I have a question or a small issue, Rhett is quick to respond and very fair about what he charges.

I could not be more pleased with Rhett and his crew and the work they have done for us. I highly recommend Conoley Electric if you are in need of a quality electrician.

I am glad everyone had a good experience. We had a bad experience. This man simply does not respond back to you no matter how many phone messages you leave him! We are in the middle of a home remodel and we needed for him to come and do some electrical work. We used him before and all was great. Now, it's like he's gotten so sought after that if you don't have a $300,000 + job you better forget his answering your messages or phone calls. When people get this high and mighty, it's time to find some other person to do what you need them to do. Just forget this guy. There are more considerate and truly professional electricians out there.

Fast. How fast? I called in and left a voicemail, got a response within 5 minutes and they were at my place literally within 15 minutes of my voicemail.

While they were here I asked about a couple other things I had in mind, they gave me an estimate and proposed a much cheaper alternative as well.

Reliable, and professional.

If I need some electrical work, I'll call back these guys. No question about that.

Conoly did a very large job for us during a major kitchen remodel. These guys were fantastic. There was a large crew that came in and got it all done in just a few days. Their quote seemed reasonable, and they worked hard to make sure that it was all done quickly and correctly. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Conoley Electric came out to my house today to finish up the electrical on our kitchen remodel. We bought a house that was ""flipped"" 5 years ago and as with most older homes, it was cosmetically in good shape but beneath it all, we've had all kinds of problems. I've had 3 different electrical companies out to do work in the past and every one of them has done a sub-par to avg job and been very expensive.

A few weeks ago, upon a recommendation, I called Conoley Electric to come by and give me a quote. Rhett, the owner, came by and assessed the job, gave us a very reasonable quote and told me exactly when his guys would be out. He also recommended a great tile guy (who I ended up hiring). Rhett texted me the night before the job to confirm. Today, his guys (Mike and Justin) arrived exactly on time. They came in, asked what I needed done and went and bought the parts for me (amazing!). When they returned, they got straight to work and finished up in a few hours.

His crew was courteous, respectful, diligent and pleasant to have in my home. After 4 months of wires hanging out of my wall I am now done with our kitchen remodel. I highly recommend Conoley Eletric! It seems like good customer service is a rarity these days in almost every line of service business and today by far one of the best experiences I have ever had.

We will certainly have Rhett and his crew back to do more work in the future. Hire them, you won't be disappointed!

Great company. I have been using Conoley Electric since their beginning. They always show up on time and get the job done quickly and up to code, for a fair price. Great crew and product every time.

We had Rhett of Conoley come out because our friend J is a contractor and referred him. We needed electrical added to our new addition. (Bedroom, Bath, closet)

Our family runs a heating company so i'm very familiar with ""the industry"" and my brother and his crew were over at the same time running the new heating system.

I (and my brothers crew) have never before seen a crew come in and knock out the work like this company. They were seriously on fire. He must have had 6 guys in there, all working, all moving, getting things done.
My brother and his crew actually said they'd come back tomorrow to finish the heating because it was getting ""too crowded in there with this entire crew"" . (a good thing!) They also said they've never seen that many guys on a residential job. All I can say is, they finished FAST. What I thought would have taken two weeks (and would have if we'd stuck with the original contractors electrician, just one guy, )I think took like 2 days, and his prices were more reasonable than our original contractors electrician)
Rhett also happened to be a really nice guy and wanted to make sure we were happy all along the way so an added bonus.

Overly impressed with their service and my brother said when he needs an electrician on any of our future jobs he'd use him in a second. (and my brother is a picky picky guy!)
Thanks guys. Keep up the great work!

Let me start off by saying I joined Yelp (after years of not wanting to) just so I could review Conley Electric! That's how great my experience was!

I called Conoley Electric on a Tuesday morning in early January 2010 after reading the review below me. I normally would not trust just 1 review, but the review was so + and I needed to have work done and was ready to start and get it over with. I called and got Rhett Conoley directly. This was around 10 a.m. He came and met me at my place at noon, same day.

I loved his personality right off the bat! Sorry to all the ladies, but I believe he's married ;-)

He was warm, friendly, professional, and informative. I'd been putting off my light work for nearly 5 years. Literally living with a bare bulb hanging from the ceiling in 1 hall just because I was so dreading dealing with it. I called Rhett to get a quote for lights hanging in 2 hallways. While he was there I showed him 3 additional rooms and kept saying ""well what would you do here?"". Rhett had a suggestion for everything and kept telling me floodlights, go with floodlights. They are more modern, they offer light levels, they balance room light out, etc. They are a clean look.

By the end of that 10-15 minute appointment I'd said let's do 2 hallways, a bathroom vanity, a bathroom shower, and my kitchen. 5 areas! He gave me a cost ""estimate"" then and said he'd follow up with a proposal by end of day. He did. He's a man of his word. His proposal matched his estimate exactly and he was able to start that same week on Thursday. I wasn't ready and so we started the following week. I'm just trying to give you the details so you realize he's efficient!

In the end, I had something ridiculous like 11 or 12 floodlights installed; a hanging vanity light installed (that Rhett went and bought so I didn't have to!); 2 dimmer switches; and a separation of switches for my bathroom (fan vs. light). I made all these choices on the fly like ""oh hey what about this"" and Rhett was 100% patient and accommodating, went with the flow, had suggestions, had advice, and handled every hurdle that came up.

Rhett told me the work would take 4 days. I came home the first/start day and ALL the lights were in. And mind you this includes that when they drilled into my ceiling they found out that where they expected to have 2 feet of clearance, they had 5 5/8 inches or something ridiculous shallow and they had had to change the plan entirely. We still used floodlights, but Rhett had to go source entirely different lights.

I loved the guys Rhett used. If I ever have a daughter, I'd call these guys and see if they have a son. They're the kind of guys who are positive, upbeat, good guys that you feel comfortable having in your home with or without you there.

The lights looked great!

The additional 3 days in Rhett's estimate ended up being all about the wall/ceiling repair and paint. It was never 8 hour days, it was just simply that they had to go in, fix, let dry, come back, etc.

They were so friendly and so professional. ALWAYS on time (which sucks for someone like me who's always late and not ready for guests at the door at 8 a.m. ha!).

Also the painter Rhett used is an extended member of his family so it's cool to know it's kept close. Plus you know that whoever Rhett recommends you can trust otherwise he can track them down for you! I can't find the painter's card for the life of me but if you need a good painter, he's the guy to call (Name is Lonny and his company has ""Paint"" and ""Wagon"" in the title; based out of Mountain View I think).

I will add in a few clauses and these are NOT about Rhett or Conoley Electric.

I only went to Rhett. I got only his estimate and no one else's. So I know what I paid and I don't know if that was reasonable, low, or high. I know that several people have seen the work (and all agreed it's great) and thought I paid too much. My price included the lights/parts, labor, dry wall, and paint.

I also will say that I felt I ""needed"" dimmers in my halls and in hindsight I totally didn't so things like dimmers and switches do cost extra if you're trying to do the work on a budget. Just think about why you want them before you get them.

Also I will say that floodlights have a slight hum, which I didn't know and find a bit annoying at times.

And lastly the lights we installed over the shower can't be exposed to steam. I realize Rhett didn't know that ahead of time, so I am NOT at all being critical here. But as soon as Rhett found out, he called, warned me not to use it, and found a solution right away. That solution was awesome (plates that cover the lights), but it does lower the level of light you're getting.

I would trust Rhett and his crew to do any work and it's unfortunate I can't just hire them for all my jobs. I would. They are reliable, professional, kind, and good people. USE CONOLEY!

Rhett and his crew did an amazing job on my remodel. His professionalism and workmanship can not be matched. Rhett stands by his work. Just as a quick example, I had my brand new convection oven fail shortly after the remodel. Rhett came out immediately and checked to make sure it wasn't an electrical problem. (Which it WASN'T) which shows me he stands behind his work. I'd recommend him to anyone! VERY reasonable priced as well and they can handle any kind of job. Give him a call!
