I use Yelp regularly to find restaurants, etc. but don't leave reviews often, though in this case I just have to.

My lights have been flickering for a week now and I had no idea what was going on. Decided to have Canejo Valley Electric come out to diagnose it. They showed up on time, tested everything and quickly realized the issue was with my main line, so I called LADWP to send a crew out.

Will definitely be using this company for all future needs!!!!

We have been using Billy and his company for years. I can't say enough about how much we have enjoyed the service. The work has always been top notch and well priced not to mention prompt which is always a concern. I have even had the great fortune of speaking to Billy on the phone and he's been willing to talk me thru an issue and didn't expect anything in return. How is that for customer service? It's hard to say you would have no issue telling anyone you can depend on this recommendation but Happy to say that's what we have found in this company. Truly appreciate knowing I can count on them. Let there be light :)

Billy and his team were quick to respond. They were honest and did great work on our canned lighting project. Further when we had an issue with our spa Billy came to check it out and went above and beyond what most would do and was very helpful to refer others to also help. I had these guys install an electrical outlet on my outside patio. They ran cables through an existing socket inside my house to the outside. The electricians were very professional, friendly, and knowledgable about what they were doing. I was very impressed with the service.

I cannot believe the 5 star reviews as I think this company gouges customers. The owner and 5 guys came out for landscape lighting. He sees the nice house and he knew the area before he even came. Who needs 6 men charging the homeowner to replace burnt out light bulbs? They spent the day replacing bulbs that had burned out, and didn't add anything grand, no recessed lighting, something to justify the bill, but the bill was enormous. Another thing I didn't want to pay for was this: Billy the older man, had all his guys take a lunch break and told me I had to pay for their lunch break. Since when does the customer pay for the lunch break for his workers? At the end of the day, and it was only part of the day they worked he handed me a bill for $1,400. I was shocked and he agreed to lower the outrageous bill to only $1,000.00 which I paid to get them all off my property. Never use again!!

Called at 9 pm and Billy was still in his office working! Had an older alarm system that kept chirping! Had me send him a photo of the alarm box and told me exactly what to do to stop the chirping! WHAT A LIFESAVER! So grateful to solve the problem and have the silence to get a good night's sleep!

Have used Conejo Valley in the past to install lighting and a ceiling fan. Always satisfied! I highly recommend CV Electric!

The outlets in our kitchen kept on tripping the breaker switch. We originally called Powell Electric. Unfortunately, when the electrician arrived 2 days later, the outlets were working. Out of safety concerns, I asked him to check what made this happen. He opened the box outside and saw nothing wrong. Inside, he didn't even bother opening the outlets. He said he couldn't recreate what had happened, but recommended to put 2 dedicated circuit lines in our kitchen. He charged me $99 for his time and a quote of $2,890 to re-circuit the kitchen. The outlets tripped our breaker switch again, this time I went through Yelp and found Conejo Valley Electric. I informed them what Powell had recommended and Billy said most likely there was a short somewhere. Guillermo came the following morning and found 2 outlets that were the possible culprits. He fixed the problem and it cost me less than $200. Everything is working fine.
I know now that Powell Electric is only seeking expensive services. We have an older house in Thousand Oaks and will most likely be in need of an electrician. I will now call on Conejo Valley Electric when I need both small and extensive services.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. Responsive, prompt, friendly, neat, service above and beyond. What a great experience after going through several electricians that were none of those things. Highly recommend!
