As a child, I watched my father repair everything around our home. If something was discarded as broken, he would rescue it and bring it back to life. I remember a Christmas when he created a full-sized Santa Claus in his sleigh, adorned with lights, and mounted it on our roof. In my mind, he was not just handy but a true genius! I wanted to follow in his footsteps, but there was a challenge—I was a girl! During the 1950s, that was an issue, so I put my dreams on hold and attended college. After finishing at the top of my class, I joined the corporate world. In my spare time, I developed my skills across various trades. For thirty years, I took on home improvement projects of all kinds and eventually founded my own company—Concierge Renovations.
