We are a cooperative owned by our members, a cooperative focused on rural areas providing service to areas near the San Angelo area, the Sterling City region, the Mertzon community, the Grape Creek area, the Water Valley region, Wall, the Paint Rock area, Veribest, Bronte, and Robert Lee, TX. CVEC, headquartered at San Angelo, Texas, is a not-for-profit electric cooperative created back in 1940. Since we are a cooperative, our cooperative is owned by its members.
