We dealt with Lawrence Sturkey, the owner, over the phone, and James was the service person who did the repairs and installations at our house. Both gentlemen were knowledgeable, professional, approachable, up front and honest dealing with us, (the customers,) and were dependable and pleasant to do business with. We wanted a generator inlet box installed as well as a dedicated circuit for a garage freezer. The work included the installation of three new breakers at our existing panel, a pair of new outlets in the garage, a long cable run, and a generator inlet box on the wall outside.

Community Electric provided a competitive quote, and I really liked having the opportunity to talk to the owner (Lawrence) during the initial visit. After receiving the quote, I requested a change to the plans we discussed and Lawrence was able to draft up a new quote for us. The work was scheduled for the following week and two of their installers (James and Alecia) completed the installation within a single afternoon. They were both friendly and very knowledgeable. Their professionalism was clearly reflected in the quality of their work in terms of safety, adherence to code, appearance of their work, and respectfulness of the property (everything was exceptionally clean - see photos). James even made sure to cut the access holes in the drywall to ensure the pieces could be securely reattached both flush and aligned for me to easily patch after. It truly felt like Community Electric sent us two of their very best!

As mentioned earlier, we are very satisfied with Community Electric and would not hesitate to call them for any future projects.

Cannot say enough good things about Community Electric! We have an old house with limited outdoor electricity and called Community Electric to help us out right before the holidays. They exceeded our expectations - they arrived for a consult within 2 days of us calling and got us electricity in the front and back of our house within the week without breaking the bank, even leaving us a week to spare before Christmas! On top of that, everyone we worked with (electricians and the staff we worked with over the phone/via email) was incredible and extremely friendly. We have a few upcoming projects and we will definitely be calling Community Electric again.

Lawrence and his crew installed an outlet for our new dishwasher (was hardwired before) in September 2019. Reasonably priced, knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. We were very pleased.

November 2020, we called Lawrence again to help us with the voltage requirements for a new washer/dryer. We texted back and forth over 30+
minutes. Instead of having to come out, Lawrence was able to help me solve the problem over text - for free! Extremely helpful and I really appreciate him taking the time to talk me through it.
