WOW! Just bought a house and have about 20 different items that need to be done. They refused to come to the house to give me an estimate. They wanted to give me an estimate over the phone which seems to be counter productive. I would never trust a company to stick to a budget or an estimate without seeing the house and how things are currently wired. Just crazy!

George Nixon answered our call on a Saturday afternoon, when our dishwasher installers refused to use the old dishwasher's wiring. George was at our house within an hour, and had the work done within 3 hours. Kept track of the time, to avoid any overcharging. Estimated a new panel for our 42 year old house, returned 3 days later and got it done on time and on budget. He was mindful of power interruptions to us, kept us informed of progress regularly, and was a pleasure to work with. I'd like to put him on retainer - we WILL use Common Ground Electric again.

Common ground came out to my shop to fix some lights
We had out.Very professional great price and my opinion most importantly
Was on time I hate that five hour window some companies give.
I will definitely use common ground again..

This is the kinda guy who gives contractors a bad reputation. He'll give you a low estimate but will extort money from you after the crappy service is done. Stay away from him.

This company is owned and operated by an african-american guy. They always overcharge. I found out after the fact that they overcharged me by almost 100 percent.
The have no knowledge of the California Electrical code. The city inspector did not approve the work that they did. He walked off the job when he had to make all the corrections.
I had to hire another contractor and made double pay to correct the situation.
He took the payment and abandoned the job.
