Just had Tim from Colburn electric stop by and fix some electrical issues I had in my kitchen. Not only was he knowledgeable about what he was doing, he was VERY helpful in suggesting potential fixes to other things I had going on in the kitchen and suggested ways to fix them, all while working. We are very grateful to have Colburn service our home in Fortuna. Tim was very knowledgeable and informative. He came in and was very professional getting the outlet done and even went the extra mile and put the wine fridge in the space! Then back the next day to replace all the breakers and rewire our entire breaker box correctly because the wires were a big convoluted mess and not hooked up to breakers! He got our generator kicking on correctly if we lose power! We would recommend Tim and the staff of Colburn to anyone needing electrical repair or installed! Fair priced, professional, prompt, knowledgeable and great service!!!

These are honest and good people. I called about an electrical problems at my house and after listening carefully they advised me to call PGE- which I did and it turned out PGE was responsible and fixed the problem. But they could have taken advantage of the situation and my ignorance and made themselves money at my expense. I would call them again because I am sure they would do a good job and not take advantage of a senior citizen like myself. I'm happy there are such nice people as Colburn Electric out there!

I have to be careful in my praise or you will think I am related to someone at Colburn Electric. I am not, except that they have done work for me over the years. There are many good electrical contractors, but you won't find one better than Colburn Electric.

Bob Colburn clearly has a special knack for hiring the best caring, competent, and professional people. I have had them work on three of my homes. The homes were all old, with special challenges due to accessibility and outmoded systems. Every time Colburn Electric works for me the work is done:
1) With the highest effective professionalism.
2) Within the stated time period, or delayed only for a reason out of their control.
3) By people who have a good attitude about their work and their clients.
4) With reasonable cost.
5) Prioritizing customer service and the best final product.

They care about their customers and it shows. I never hesitate to use Colburn Electric and if you use them you will be happy you did.

Our house lost power sporadically through the Downstairs and upstairs. We were going away the next day and didn't want to leave with a possible hazardous situation. We called in the morning and by noon the job was done. Excellent respectful service. Well done and thank you. We will definitely call you again

They are as good as it gets. I called 5 or 6 electricians in the area for an estimate and Colburn was the only company to give a bid. I got two other bids from construction contractors and both were above their bid. They came out and did the work within a week. They did an excellent job. The two young men were very efficient and personable. They came back to do the ceiling fan because the first fan would hang down to far and he told us that before he even started which was nice. When the new fan came in, they immediately put us in the schedule. It took 3 hours to put that fan in and no extra charge. Would I call them again.. In a heartbeat. Would I recommend them. Absolutely. If you want fast service, an excellent job and very personable folks,,these are your people.
