Fantastic service and I would always work with this company again. I have worked with them for years on my old house whenever I needed help. I completely trust them.

Wow! They had a small window of time open. They had their people out immediately. Less than an hour rewire completed. Great teamwork, personal, very competent. My go to company now! Thank you Cohen Electric.

I have used Cohen Electric since the 90's. They have always done excellent work. No complaints here. Highly recommend this company!

We've used Cohen Electric for years. They've always done a fantastic job and we've given Brian some real challenges. It's easy to make an appointment and they've always come when scheduled. We think they do an outstanding job!

Cohen Electric is by far the most trustworthy and honest electrical contractors. Completed extensive renovations and persisted when ordered products had problems. I would highly recommend this company no matter the size of project.

I paid Cohen Electric several years ago to install a grounded outlet because two appliances I used regularly were both fairly old and I wanted to protect myself should a short ever develop in either. Two electricians came and wired an outlet they didn't ground it. They installed a grounded (three-prong) receptacle, which if not illegal is certainly unethical! They also put the wrong kind of wire on the grounding screw (I found out later) and, worse, slyly tucked that wire up into the floor joists (under the house). So, I recommend that you buy a tester to check your electrician's work (specifically an inexpensive Commercial Electric Tools Outlet Tester, Green; Model #MS112H). If you're so inclined, crawl under the house and examine the neatness of, say, tying that grounding wire into others and look at what you see and then talk to the Dallas inspectors to see if what they did was correct. Also, before they leave, actually READ the invoice to make sure that they did what you contracted with them for and what you are paying for. Oh, and consider hiring a different electric service company! If Cohen would cheat on a small job like mine, imagine the lousy (and potentially dangerous) service you'd get on some really big job like moving your electric junction box out of a closet to the outside! I tell you all this because there are a lot of incompetent and lazy electricians in the world and you can be electrocuted; a friend's visiting daughter died after an electrician had done some rewiring in her guest bathroom! So, no thanks, Cohen Electric. This was my second negative experience with you; I'll never call again!
Two more things: Check that your electrician actually has a license in the Texas database, taking into consideration it may have lapsed because of, say, non-payment of child support -- or it might be something much more serious. https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/LicenseSearch/

We have used this company before and had no customer complaints. This time was different.
We had an electrician come out to install 4 can lights in a bedroom and fix a light fixture that was buzzing. We were told that the lights would be too hard to install because of how the joists were running and we needed to buy a RF blocking light switch to stop the noise. Nothing was fixed or done. Imagine my surprise when I got a $120 bill!
Never again.
