We had an issue with a breaker that kept going off. Mickey came out quickly and checked it, explaining what may be happening and advising us to save money and try the reset without replacing. It did happen again, so he came out and replaced the breaker. Note: we considered doing it ourselves and found it was an incredible hassle finding the right breaker at Home Depot. Mickey had the right part and was very quick to get it installed and tested. We feel very lucky to have found him.
I have a photo, but can't figure how to post it. Whatever... the problem is fixed. Mickey was nice, efficient and very fair in price!

We live in Fremont and searched on Thumbtack for a licensed electrician that was available fairly soon. Several unlicensed people also offered their services, but we chose Coastside Electric, whose owner, Mickey, is licensed, and we are very happy with our decision! My husband and I had a variety of electrical work done by Coastwide Electric this week, and we are totally pleased with their customer service, the fair prices, and the quality of their products and work. The owner, Mickey, was present on the job the entire time his team of three assistants worked. He constantly watched their progress and gave them praise and ideas for the best results. Mickey and the workers traded ideas with each other, as well, which was nice to hear. Their end plan was perfect for our lighting wishes! They worked together diligently and in good spirits...even the young man who had to crawl under our house twice! Our new lighting system is awesome, and we are so pleased to recommend Coastside Electric to everyone :-)

I worked with both Mickey and Jeff on my solar project. Jeff was the project manager and took charge of everything. He reviewed past electrical usage and designed the system that was right for us. Prior to solar our PGE bill, including gas, was ~$1560 a year. For the year following our solar installation our total PGE bill was ~$260! Mickey was the electrician in charge and hooked up our system flawlessly. The system has performed as expected and we could not be more satisfied. I highly recommend Mickey and Jeff for any electrical or solar panel project you might be considering.

OMG. Saved the day for me . . . best electrician ever. I replaced 3 switches in my hallway and couldn't get them to work properly. I called Coastwide Electric and Mickey, the owner, came the next day (he tried hard to make it the same day) to help me out. He persistently solved the wiring problem. Mickey and his crew came out to upgrade my main electrical panel, install solar panels and add an electric car charging station to my house. Mickey initially came out to give me a solar proposal and found my panel was too small to handle solar. He handled all the design, permits and even scheduling PG&E!

Everything was done very professionally and his crew was extremely clean and respectful. I added a car charger and he only charged me for the parts and not labor because his guys where there anyways to do the main panel. The price came in under my budget and I am so happy with his company!
