We have four air conditioners in our home and one area upstairs had a humidity problem. We tried for months with different companies to find the problem with our 90 percent humidity. Finally, Sean with CMI came numerous times to our home trying different things. Today, after four months of no problems, I'm confident to say he conquered the problem. Sometimes, when there isn't an easy solution, you need a pro with tenacity to work overtime to get the job done.

I scheduled a service visit with CMI a few days in advance. I've used them for routine servicing for two years on my home a/c. This time I needed them to come out to tighten up a fitting they had left off during my last routine maintenance (there was dripping onto the filter as a result). I specified the visit was needed in the morning, I would not be home in the afternoon. CMI scheduled me as their second call of the day. Turns out second call of the day is 3 pm. Needless to say I never received the service. I work during the week and this was my only day off. When I voiced my displeasure in a review (as a pre-paying customer with a maintenance plan) they chose to respond by calling me hateful, miserable, and bitter. Avoid CMI unless of course you prefer the companies you do business with to waste your time, do shoddy work, and call you names.

Everything was Jake until I had to call fo follow-up and got the ""girls"" in the office. They were short and rude and condescending. This is an experience that many businesses deal with and when told do nothing about it! I own my business and I would have a tough ""chat"" with any of my employees who were not bend over helpful on the phone. Very disappointing.

If there was an option for 0 stars, that would be my choice. Three months after purchasing a home, my air conditioning quit working. Upon inspection, I discovered a CMI label and called them for repair. After a 10 minute inspection, they reported that my compressor motor had failed. They said they would have to get to me with a price and timeframe. After not getting back to me, I follow up with a phone call the next day and was told the motor could not be replaced and would need a new system, both compressor and air handler and asked if they could order. I said no and called another company.

The repair took 30 minutes and cost $235. The issue was a failed run control modulator!!! I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone but will continue to express my most unpleasant experience. Lastly, after trying to contact the company owner, I was stonewalled and the employees did do a masterful job of not letting me get through to the owner.

We've been using CMI for about two years because our unit continues to get backed up. Terrence did a great job back in Feb. and the unplugging last about six months. We had to call them back. I am not sure who came out a week ago, but it was still leaking. I asked for Terrence this time, he came out, found the leak and was on his way. Every time I call they are nice and helpful and they always send someone out very quickly.

I have been with CMI for many many years now and always with great satisfaction. However,back in April just a few weeks after a scheduled service my air went out. When I called the office I told the girl that the light was out on the wall box. She had someone come out only to tell me to replace the batteries in the wall box...an $84 charge even though I have a service plan. Since then,I had relayed this experience with several neighbors who said their carrier told them to check the batteries right away. My Carrier did not !!! I guess I should look into their carrier for future service. I really wish CMI would graciously credit my account the $84 and save our long standing customer relationship.

Had the company come out to give me a quote on Friday. Friendly enough, enjoyed talking to the tech. Then proceeded to get three additional phone calls from three different CMi technicians about coming out to give me a quote. Is that the type of company you want to handle an ""emergency"" on your unit? If customers are so important, why can they not seem to keep track of this one? Also, their quote came in significantly above other local companies for the same systems.

CMI installed a new HVAC system in our residence in 2013-2014. We were told the old system had to replaced. Since 2014 the system has never worked properly. CMI serviced the system more than 7 times over a three year period. The customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced. When we asked to have the system fixed, the staff in the office would just make excuses. Office staff even began yelling at us when we demanded that the system be fixed. This company is trying to run out the 10 year warranty and sell us another system. We spoke with close neighbors and they told us they have had the same experiences with CMI. This company should be investigated. They have scammed elderly people on more than one occasion. We eventually had to call another company to service and resolve the issue.
