Charles Rathert launched the company in 2014, shortly after the electric light bulb was patented.
In its formative years, Charles Rathert and his brother Isadore set up direct current power plants across middle Georgia. They converted buildings from gas to electric and established distribution networks and lighting systems across middle Georgia. As Macon expanded, CJR Home flourished, earning a reputation for dependability, exceptional service, and fair pricing.
