I called CityBay Electric as a result of the fantastic Yelp Reviews, and I was not disappointed. I worked with Reggie, who provided fast, prompt and professional service. I was not disappointed and will definitely use him again if the need arises. I also like the fact that you get personalized, friendly service and don't just feel like a number. In addition, his rates were very competitive. Felt like I got great value for the price.

I needed electrical work done in my office. I contacted CityBay Electric and spoke to the owner Reggie about my needs. I was able to make a appointment in which he sent 2 of his guys James and Brandon to do the job. They came to my office and changed around switching for my ceiling light. Initially I thought would take 3 hours but they were able to complete it in less than 30 minutes. I am so impressed with their level of service, professionalism and work ethic I had to write a review for everyone to see. I am THOROUGHLY impressed with CityBay Electric and will recommend them to all my friends and family. If you have electrical needs CityBay Electric is the company to call. Not to mention their pricing is very reasonable.

As a property manager we are always looking for the top vendors to work with. We needed an electrician for one of the properties we are managing out in Berkeley. On labor day weekend, we had a tenant let us know that his power went out. We called the top vendors on yelp and low an behold we only got one live person pick up! It was Reggie. He was able to head out to the property right away and diagnose the issue. We got the price approved from the owner and the rest is history. Reggie and his crew came out to install some lighting in my family room and they did an amazing job. First of all he was easy to get a hold of and always returned calls in a timely manner. Second, he gave me an estimate and stuck to it, even tho my ceiling needed more work than he thought. And third, he was on time and finished the job when he promised. Reggie Stevenson is the owner of CityBay Electric. I contacted Reggie for a quote on updating my main and sub panel. I received three quotes and Reggie's quote was fair. Reggie took care of obtaining the permit, and was very helpful in answering any questions I had about the work. Reggie and Francisco was on time and was very efficient with their work. Francisco took my sub panel which looked like spaghetti and made it a work of art. Reggie took extreme care updating my main panel, making sure everything was secure and properly installed. The inspector commented on how neat and professional the work was done. I will definitely call Reggie for any and all electrical work I need done in the future. Reggie and Francisco took great pride in their work. It is so nice to know people like Reggie and Francisco still exist when it comes to having someone come and do a great job for a fair price in your home. If you need electrical work done you will not be disappointed calling CityBay Electric.

CityBay Electric is great, we choose them because of the great reviews on Yelp along with the A- Rating on BBB. I felt assured to know that all there electricians were certified electricians. When i called for an estimate for our Bathroom/Kitchen Remodel/closet they responded very promptly and gave us an estimate that was right on target. There electricians Tim and Francisco were courteous, clean and efficient.

Because of the great experience, we have called them continuously for various electrical items at our properties as well.
I highly recommend them to family and friends.

On 2/15/2012, Reggie attempted to complete the work on my project. After several hours of work he told me I would have my permits by the end of the week. It is now the second week of March and still no permits, in fact, when I called today, Reggie knew I still needed them and hasn't taken the necessary steps to do the work legally.

From December 2011:
Citybay began a project to redo the electrical wiring in my house back in August 2011. The contract stated five days to complete the work. Twice I had to take off work after the five days of work so they could complete the project. It is now December, the work is not complete, in fact, the contractor tried to get away without actually replacing the wiring I paid to have replaced. This was noticed when I replaced a light fixture and the 50 year old wiring was still in place. Four times, as recently as last week, Reggie gave me a date and time and failed to have someone show up to complete the work. I called the city a few days ago and Reggie still had not filed the paperwork for my permits. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They failed to complete the project on-time, failed to properly complete the work, were deceptive and tried to defraud me and still have not completed the work. This company does not deserve your business!

Very fast response and fair pricing. I'm dealing with a landlord that knows nothing about electrical, let alone property ownership and management, and Reggie got me squared away as rapidly as I could have hoped. We are on knob-and-tube wiring and we have to downgrade our outlets from 3 prong and GFIs to 2 prong to work with the old wiring. It has to pass inspection, as well as be completed before the landlord comes in and does a crappy job for an exorbitant amount. I upgraded CityBay to a 5 star because of rapid completion of the work, assuming it passes the inspection. I will surely return to CityBay for upgrading to breakers, GFIs, and main power as soon as I can. Thanks Reggie and Francisco!

Reggie, was prompt in returning our phone call and the next day called again when there was a delay due to traffic. He does impeccable work, neat, detailed and even programmed our new front door timer, which had 7 different days worth of settings. Reggie is a find and highly recommended, reasonable price, excellent work. It can't get better than that.
