I called to schedule installation of three light fixtures, it was very easy and quick to get an appointment. John and another employee came out the same week and quickly installed the fixtures. I also got an estimate to repair my Ring doorbell that was incorrectly wired. Again John came out and was able to quickly rectify the issue and he did it a no charge. An honest and competent business, you should definitely contact if you need electrical work done.

Can't say enough about John and Citywide Electric. I've had him to our home to install:

- Level 2 EV Charger
- 220 and 110 outdoor outlets for spa and waterfall
- HEAVY Restoration Hardware sconces in our kitchen
- 5 foot long Restoration Hardware chandelier in Formal Dining Room
- Ring Camera Doorbell

I've also had him out for an urgent 'burning' from our bathroom GFCI outlet and reconfigure our outside driveway and porch lights and install new high efficiency smart bulbs.

John is always responsive, does great work, and is so reasonably priced that I tried to offer him more for his work as I thought he was under and he wouldn't accept it.

He's earned my trust and respect and my loyalty.... and that isn't an easy task by any means.

We bought a Tesla last week and realized we couldn't charge it due to the voltage John was like Superman came out the next day and installed everything we needed super fast so we would be able to charge our car. I highly recommend him for all electric work.

Quote was reasonable. They installed three ceiling fans and ten flush mount lights and a chandelier. They came right on time and did a great job. Chandelier cord was coming out a month later and they came a day after I called and repaired at no cost. Very courteous and professional!!!

City Wide is great. I called for an electrical problem for my outdoor patio fans. I was told from another source it needed to be re-wired. After John assessed the problem, the remote needed to be synced with the fan. Took him less than 10 minutes, with no charge! Will continue to use them.

My ceiling fan/light stopped working and City Wide Electric was responsive, gave me a reasonable quote, and came out as scheduled to take a look. John suggested I have another fan on hand to install in case they could not repair, so I bought one over the weekend and had it ready. Turns out the fan was fine and the remote just needed to be reset - they fixed it and shame on me for not thinking of that.

Now for the problem - I asked them to install the new fixture they suggested I buy and John said that would be a completely new charge on top of the repair he just did. What?? His reasoning is that he would only credit the house-call towards the new install if the repair could not be completed. I did not exactly consider the remote reset that took two minutes a 'repair' and he was already at my house, but I was not in the mood to continue arguing.

Let's be clear - City Wide Electric did not do anything wrong but was not exactly accommodating either. I suppose business is business - and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Keep looking if customer service and a human touch is important to you. They may or may not do great work, I'll never know, but I got the impression that this company is just a bit greedy.

My dryer died, and the pro I called said the socket was bad and that he was not qualified to do electrical.
I was called by John K from City Wide Electric thru Home Advisor. We set up an appointment and he quoted me a fair price.
I called to cancel because it was raining, but John K. said not a problem. After calling to say he'd be at my location in 15 min,
he got right to work and found and fixed the problem within an hour.
He also gave me a lot of very useful info regarding things electrical that should be fixed at my old house. He's very knowledgeable, professional, polite and knows his business. If there was more space I'd give ten stars. I am one happy customer. Thank you City Wide Electric and John K.
