What a pleasure it is, to finally have a craftsman come into your home that does excellent work throughout. When I called Chris, he was very responsive to my call and was able to come and do the list of items I had made. He didn't hesitate to tackle each one and the most complicated was installing some electrical outdoors. The job had to be given some thought and Chris was able to analyze the situation and come up with the best solution to the problem. He didn't ""just do it"", but took his time to present the best option and also welcoming any questions we had. The job was meticulously done and the pride that Chris takes in his work shows at the outcome.

He's clean, thorough, and thinks beyond the task at hand, totally making sure that you get what you want when the job is done! He's worked for us many times over the last 12 years, and worked on the renovation of our home before we owned it, giving him the inside scoop on all the idiosyncrasies of our older home! Chris did a terrific job of hanging a 183 lb. chandelier. The instructions were terrible, but he persevered and engineered an attachment bracket that I would trust with my life. I have known and worked with Chris on four different houses and he has never disappointed me! Chris was the only person I would have called due to this chandelier was so large....I have complete trust in him.

""Handyman"" doesn't do Chris or his work justice. Chris is a craftsman. When he does a job it's done beautifully, professionally and with an eye for detail. Chris has done a lot of work for my husband and me - remodeled our kitchen, built a pantry, installed a pocket door, replaced all the interior doors in our house, and numerous other projects over a period of about 10 years. While working on the kitchen he made sure we had a working sink every night and, when he could, a working stove and he cleaned up the work area every night! Amazing!

When you are not sure what you want or what would work best Chris will have a suggestion that, more often than not, is just the right thing. He really does care and gives careful thought to every project. He has pride of workmanship. Truthfully, he doesn't want his name connected to anything he can't be proud of. I would hire Chris to do just about any job in my home.

What everyone is saying about Chris is true. We've been using Chris Strohmeyer for miscellaneous jobs around our house and he's done a great job with each one. He's very good seeking out the cause of a problem then recommending a logical, practical solution. He's very conscious about giving real value for my money. He's prompt. He's easy to talk to and work with. He goes the extra mile to make sure the problem is solved. Also, I don't get the impression he's pushing to do more or looking for more work. I'm definitely looking forward to working with him again.

I absolutely agree with the other reviewers about Chris:

* His work is excellent and thorough
* He's a great trouble-shooter
* He's comfortable and easy to work with
* He's punctual and reliable
* He responds quickly when you contact him
* His rates are super reasonable.

One of the things Chris did for us was to move a couple of celing light fixtures to center them in the rooms. If you've ever had this done, you know that holes in the ceiling are hard to patch without leaving some kind of scar. Not so with Chris's repair! He did a masterful job and you can't tell AT ALL that the lights were moved. That is amazing.

Chris also did some electrical and carpentry repairs, all of which turned out perfect. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Chris Strohmeyer is probably one on the best Handymen/Contractors around.
Chris is highly professional, shows up on time, does what he says he's going to do and is honest. Unlike many other uncaring companies out there, you can depend on Chris to do Quality work, and get it right the first time. I think the difference in Chris, is that he really CARES. Chris treats each project as if he were working on his own home, so it's done right.
I highly recommend Chris and would be happy to talk to anyone concerning the quality of his work.
