10/13/2022 - Just got a Facebook post from Chris Cook who tried to lecture me about the cost of doing business, tried to mislead everyone that this was not a justified response, and told me I would be ""bashed"" for telling my opinion. Here is my response to him.

I won't be bashed about telling the truth. This is clearly an example of bad customer service. Have no problem paying for services rendered. Have no problem paying the service fee. Only have a problem paying for the attitude that was exhibited. Yes I do know what overhead costs and you are justified in charging a service call. This was a stop made between calls. We were told that you could easily stop by on your current route to check it out. You got an extra bonus here. I also know when a service person takes advantage. This is one of those cases. Of course this is all our own opinions. I will still never recommend or use you again.

I made contact with Chris via HomeAdvisor in response to my request for someone to complete the exhaust from my stove to newly vented roof. This business was the only one to respond to my request and I was looking forward to finally not having to smell my cooking throughout my house for weeks on end. Chris rescheduled the estimate a couple of times (he seems quite busy) and when he checked out the project, seemed to know exactly what would need to be done. But no estimate was forthcoming, despite a half-dozen follow-ups. So, I thought maybe the job wasn't worth the effort and added a couple of other projects to the work. He did respond to a voice message and scheduled a visit to ""just complete it all"". I stopped waiting and have (hopefully) hired someone else to do the work. As another reviewer said, nice enough guy, just seems to lose track of jobs from time to time.

Chris was great! my neighbor was using him and i asked him to help me with some lighting upgrades....his guys did great work and he was super reasonable (i got other quotes so i know!)...i highly reccomend him if you need any work done....i will be using him in the future and also be referring my home buyer and seller to chris as a great local reliable electrician!

They were very quick to respond to work request. They gave me a fair quote and scheduled the work for the very next day. Very professional and completed the job in a neat and timely manner.

Came highly recommended by my realtor so I called to get a quote. Even had my 65 year old father come to my house because I was at work. Chris came by, assessed the situation and then told my dad that he'd get back to me with a quote. It's a week later and still nothing. I even texted him the next day as a gentle reminder. Chris seemed nice enough but maybe he doesn't do work for ""certain people"". Who knows.
