Great electrician! Great person. We used Chris to redo our sub-panel at home, redo some of the wiring and install/replace switches, dimmers and outlets at our new house. We had a very positive experience with Chris and he has quickly become our go-to electrician. He does honest work for an honest price and is great to work with. After reading some of the good reviews on Yelp I contacted Chris Borg Electric to help with some electrical issues in our house. I agree with the review and the 5 start rating.
Chris was on time for our house call and after a few tests, he was able to determine the cause which was with the Power company. He was very thorough and checked and tightened all contact points to rule out all other possibilities. He was very detailed in his invoice and explained the issue so that I could explain our situation to the Power Company .
His rates are very good and I now have electrician for all future work on my home.

Chris gets five stars for: 1) responsiveness - he called me back shortly after I'd left a voicemail message for him, and arranged a time to stop by for an estimate for our project the next day, 2) guidance - he listened to what we had in mind, and made an excellent recommendation, 3) timeliness - he arrived right on schedule for this project, and completed it in less time than he had estimated, 4) follow-through - he explained everything that he did, and let us know how to reach him if we had any follow-up questions or issues, 5) all this was done for a very fair price.

I moved away for a few years, rented house out, needless to say needed work. He was friendly and very reasonable. When I called him I wanted a quote for alot of major things. But couldn't afford to do it all. He said no problem anything you need you just let me know. So I called him for a very small job, but was very important to have heat in my home., he came out that day! I had heat that night =) I can't thank him enough. Any electrical work I need done will be done by him!!!

Chris was great. I needed to have a couple outlets grounded and gave him a call based on the other yelp reviews. He was willing to come by my place on a Saturday to give me an estimate. His prices are very fair and the work was done quickly and cleanly. Highly recommended.

I'd recommend Chris Borg to any important person in my life - my grandmother, sister, best friend, pastor, probation officer,etc. I am that confident in his services.
As has been said, Chris is reasonable with his rates, and very good at communicating not only what is wrong but how it can be fixed and how much it will cost.
The Mrs and I had just moved into the new place. We handn't been in the new place more than two days before a light fixture in the hall fell down, the lights in the bathroom were hot to the touch even when off, and an outlet in the master bedroom was dead. A quick search of Yelp, a call to Chris, and our problems were solved in less than an hour.

Update 11/18/10
Another great job by Chris and his team! We finally got around to getting the recessed lighting done in the house. Of course there is no one else that I would call. They did a great job and like I said before have very reasonable prices. On top of that they make sure that you are one happy customer!

Considering the lack of good contractors in the area Chris was great. He was incredibly quick and efficient and very easy to work with. He definitely has reasonable rates and is upfront and honest about costs and abilities. I plan on using him again for future projects!
