Company Overview

Since its founding in 1991, Chinchor Electric, Inc. has specialized in communication and integration control systems. From 1991 to 1999, we concentrated on projects within the theme park industry. In this timeframe, we completed the installation, testing, and integration of various rides at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

This background transitioned our team into the Water and Wastewater sector, further developing our proficiency in PLC integration and power distribution design. We focus on I/O logic, complete fiber optic systems, and digital and analog installations to ensure seamless plant operations.

To expand our service offerings, we ventured into Roadway Infrastructure in 2003. That year, we achieved Traffic Signal Prequalification with the FDOT and have maintained this status ever since.

Since 2003, we have operated as both a Prime Contractor and Subcontractor on various Roadway projects, including Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS). Currently, we provide a range of services, including:

We are proud to be a family-run corporation. Timothy Z. Chinchor started Tim Chinchor Electrical Contracting in 1986, and in 1991, it evolved into Chinchor Electric. Since then, we have built a strong reputation with a long list of satisfied clients.
