This company is a joke! The tech shows up late, finishes early and bills you for hours he didn't even work. When I refused to pay for what they are trying to charge me they threatened to send my bill to collections. After arguing and calling one of the techs out they agreed to change the amount. But c'mon why play games?! Why can't they be professional and honest?!

Greg was friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. We contacted Chico Electric about an incorrectly wired stove plug and they were able to come out within 2 days of our call. Greg was able to ensure the wiring was up to code and swapped out the incorrect plug for the correct one.

Chico Electric really saved us! We apparently had some melting internal wires (all we knew is we had a bit of a weird smell and a couple outlets that seemed to be not working). When we called for an appointment they were able to come out within a couple of days. We figured a couple outlets just needed replacement. The electrician realized this was a big job and we were able to get a follow up scheduled, again, within a few days. They were so friendly and truly cared, working well with our busy schedule. And - our house is alive and well!!

I have used Chico Electric services for the last 10 years, installing a backup generator subpanel, checking my solar panels, general electrical work including simple things like troubleshooting faulty plugs, replacing night lights on a building 25 feet off the ground, and rewiring my yard lights among many different jobs.
They have always been able to successfully complete any job I requested in a timely manner. I have been relying on them for all my electrical work.

This is a model company. Not only is their work timely as well as outstanding, but their service personnel go out of the way to thoroughly explain what is being done in understandable terms and suggest future preventive maintenance.

First, we have always paid them within days of receiving a bill. We had used them for several years.

So when we needed some repair work done for flickering lights in our multi-family rental property we called them. Unfortunately, the work was not completed after numerous trips and different technicians. Granted, it is an older system but electricity is electricity. The Service Boss finally came out and told us we needed to do thousands of dollars of trenching and rewiring.

We decided to get another opinion. The new electrician found the cause and it turned out to just be a disconnected neutral wire in the main panel. How it got disconnected we don't know. It was just hanging there loose. He reconnected it and the flickering was gone. We sent a letter to the company owner complaining. That was it as far as we knew.

We had an emergency the other day and our Manager called them because our usual electrician was out of town. It was just to replace a breaker in one of the panels. They refused to come out and told her we were 86'ed. Lesson, never complain. They probably took what we said as accusatory concerning the loose wire. However, we never went there. Oh well.

Dennis, Ulysses, and Dean did a great job with our electrical panel upgrade! They were prompt, diligent, hard-working, and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. Our panel was old and not exactly fun to work with, I would gather. It was a tasking job and in two days of 100+ heat. They worked very hard and never complained. Dennis supervised as well as participated in the job and always answered my questions. Thanks guys! :)

Next day service! On time, professional, really nice guy. Explained what he was doing so we understood what was wrong and how he was fixing it. Always nice when professionals take the time to explain their work.
Fixed the problem, did some measurements for a follow-up quote and was on his way in no time. Very reasonable prices as well.

Showed up on time and were very professional. They came out and in no time figured out why part of our house was not getting power. They fixed the problem (at a reasonable price) and gave us a quote to update our 1970's electoral panel that keeps blowing breakers - so to get us set up for solar. Would higher them again.
