For 20 years, Cherokee Electrical Contractors has been a trusted name in Cherokee County. Jerry Knott, Jr., the owner, grew up in a contractor's family, but found his passion in the electrical side of construction. He moved to Houston in 1999 and joined Denny's Electrical. He had the opportunity to wire residences for MLB and NBA stars and major commercial and industrial companies in the Houston area. He obtained his Master Electrician license in 2003 and returned to East Texas to start his own venture. Jerry is also a proud US Army veteran. Together with his wife, Shelly, they dedicate their time to various community efforts in Rusk, Texas.
