Cherokee Electrical Contractors has proudly served Cherokee County. Jerry Knott, Jr., the owner, grew up in a contractor's family, but found his passion in the electrical side of construction. In 1999, he made the move to Houston and joined Denny's Electrical. He had the opportunity to wire residences for MLB and NBA stars and major commercial and industrial companies in the Houston area. He received his Master Electrical license in 2003 and quickly came back to East Texas to establish his own company. Jerry is also a proud US Army veteran. Alongside his wife, Shelly, they contribute their time to several local initiatives in Rusk, Texas.
