After shopping around I went with Luis and Brian of Chavarria Electric because they were experienced, efficient and reasonable. We hired them for a circuit panel upgrade and hot tub circuit installation. They helped get our new home up to code and were super nice along the way. It was great to work with them. They went above and beyond on this project and were fair, reasonable and responsive throughout the longer project, which PG and E brought on. I highly recommend them and will use them on future projects.

We highly recommend Luis and his team. He was prompt, honest, and did high-quality work at a reasonable price. We needed some old wiring in our house replaced since it was knob and tube and they not only did that but also added a few new outlets as well. While they were over, they were able to also help with a few smaller requests (we had an outlet on our patio that didn't work and needed help with some motion lights) and they were great and finished up the project in the timeline that was communicated, they even brought in a cleaning lady to clean up afterwards so everything was good as new.

I had a bad breaker switch, and Luis was incredibly responsive. He was able to come the next afternoon and solved the problem within the hour. He also did an extra repair to our ceiling fan while he was there (so nice of him to not make me schedule another appointment!). Professional and Prompt, at very competitive price, Luis and Brian installed a 240V outlet to Nema 14-50 for my new Tesla Level 2 charger, extra hanger for the wire, very thoughtful, highly recommended.

Hired Luis and Brian to install a new 120V circuit for a washer, move a 240V outlet, and troubleshoot a glitchy ceiling fan. Very happy and fully recommend them for household electrical jobs.

Came out to assess the same day I called them, and emailed an itemized quote the following morning. More professional and service minded, and better pricing than a handful of others I found on Yelp and via friends. Did the work efficiently a few days later and cleaned up well afterwards.

Happy they were able to quickly troubleshoot and fix our glitchy but otherwise great ceiling fan so it can avoid landfill for many years to come.

Closer to 5 than 4.7 .. dilligent, careful workers. Worked through unexpected issues. problem was product side. One thing in particular is they fixed issues a previous electrician failed to identify. Cleaned up another themselves and fixed an exposed wire. They will become constant 5 stars if they continue on this trajectory.

Chavarria's Electric is fantastic. We had a number of problems related to a power outage that they solved quickly and to our complete satisfaction. We had switches and outlets replaced, plus they trouble-shot our doorbell, which had been inoperable for weeks due to a power outage. Our home is over 100 years old and very complicated. They did a great job at a very reasonable price.

I needed to get a heat detector installed in the garage to meet regulations, and Luis and team were very responsive to setup an appointment time to come by and take a look at my needs.

Their price was also very reasonable, which is appreciated! They came by to do the work just a few days later and were efficient and clean, despite needing to cut into the drywall in a couple of locations.

Very nice people and I'm looking forward to having them do some additional work on my house.

Luis and his team did an excellent, thorough job on a few electrical updates to my home necessary for my transportation and cooking electrification goals. He upgraded the electrical panel and installed an EV charger and an induction stove. This was the second time working with him: several years ago his team updated all of my home's electrical wiring from the original knob-and-tube system. Luis does excellent work and I would highly recommend him.
