Michael responded to my call same-day and quickly diagnosed the that the problem we had with our lights flickering and furnace not working was on the PG&E line. This allowed me to get PG&E out quickly and even though they didn't believe me at first, turns out Michael was right! Thanks again!

We wanted to post appreciation of Chasov's owner and his referred rep Dmitri Jermoljev. Chasov concentrates on construction jobs, but has resources for residential and homeowners.
They were prompt, good problem solvers, treated us with a well organized approach, presented reasonable solutions and were in the $$ range for professional licensed electricians (versus handyman range, no knock against handypersons).
Initial contact was friendly, professional, low pressure, not distracted, and they were available even though busy elsewhere.

We ended up getting a package from our neighbor's contractor (all crew are on site this month - carpentry, tile, electrical, plumber), for several services we needed last minute. Chasov presented a trustworthy, responsive contact in all our interactions which is why we're posting here.

Main point: Both Chasov and Dmitri were good communicators, presented solutions clearly and were familiar with and had confidence in handling issues any homeowner of a San Francisco has to contend with due to the mix of contractor and vendor skill levels out there.

Love this place! I have used them twice for electrical issues in my condo. They are very responsive! Dmitri was scheduled to come over. He was very prompt. He's friendly and very knowledgeable. The repair required a new part and that part was obsolete. They found a replacement part and notified me when it was in. The actual repair was done in a short time. Excellent customer service!

I interviewed three electrical contractors to upgrade the circuitry in my San Francisco row house. Michael Chasov was the last. He was the only 'diamond certified' contractor of the three, and his web site was much more polished and professional than that of the others - for whatever that's worth, as a nice web site design hardly guarantees a good contractor.

I felt just a bit nervous about hiring him. Michael is a fluent English speaker, but English isn't his native language, and I fretted about a couple of small miscommunications during our consultation. I would be contracting with him for critical electric circuitry; any potential for misunderstanding worried me. But he was so obviously sharp that I decided to push these concerns aside, and am now quite glad I did.

The crew arrived at 8:00 on the dot and finished earlier than expected. I can't judge their work as an electrical expert could, but, for what it's worth: I was impressed by every aspect of what they did in my home. Their installation of the new wiring was much more thorough than I expected, and Victor did a terrific job of explaining the scope of the work after they were through.

The full name of the company is 'Chasov Electrical, Voice & Data.' Michael seemed thoroughly familiar with the internet plumbing required to network a home; he might be an excellent contractor to work with on such a project.

A circuit went down and resetting the circuit breakers didn't help. I called Chasov and he talked me through two of the things that most commonly go wrong. It was the second, and we have power throughout the house now. Chasov is top of my list now for our upcoming job when we redo our knob and tube!

Imagine my surprise when he had someone actually stop by my home in that time frame. The problem was fixed rapidly, and the fee was extremely reasonable.

Found Chasov in Diamond Certified and Good Service Guide. Read reviews on Yelp and sure enough, Chasov lives up to its reputation. Michael returned our call right away. Alex came on time, described what he'd do and the price (we had an outdoor motion activated light installed in front side alley). Reasonable price, very efficient and cordial.
