They were great! Came on time, did what was needed. A GFCI outlet needed replacement in a floor socket. Their work was efficient and Matt and Jeff were very pleasant to deal with.

Dan Charles and his team serviced my Generac generator. It was my first dealing with Charles Electric, and I was thoroughly delighted. Dan is an experienced electrician and knows Generac generators and even portable generators extremely well. He is very pleasant and easy to work with. He is very honest and trustworthy. He gave me very useful tips about the generator and the transfer switch. His team is wonderful too. I highly recommend.

I agree with all the positive Yelp reviews on Dan Charles! My one-year old Honeywell (Generac) generator was working fine, but the transfer switch was not. I contacted a few electricians prior to finding out about Dan Charles and none were qualified to work on it. I finally contacted Generac and Charles Electric was one of the authorized technicians they recommended. Despite his busy schedule, Dan fit me in and couldn't have been nicer, more communicative or more qualified to work on my system. Dan and his assistant Jamison showed up a couple of days after I contacted him, as promised, serviced my generator and figured out my switch problem. Not only did he diagnose the problem but he had the specific circuit board I needed with him in his truck. All in all the service call was a complete pleasure and everything is working again - thanks to Dan!

I just finished having Charles Electric in Half Moon bay come to restore my outside power, garage door and plugs. I was impressed with Dan and his response, expertise and efficiency. I definitely will use him another time as this was an emergency but he has a new hero in addition to Belle on Neighbor Next Door who loves to play with sticks at the beach.
