5 Stars for an electrician who responds on the Yelp app quickly, comes out in no time (and on time), and treated me with respect and kindness! Oh yeah, and he got the job done.

My partner used the Request a Quote function and heard back from Carlos shortly thereafter. We were having an issue where a ceiling fan had mysteriously stopped working, but the remote was still working and the battery hadn't died. It was great to note that he charges a fee for coming to check out the problem, but that fee goes towards the job if you choose to go with him.

Carlos set a window of 12-2 to come by to check it out and he called me at 1 to confirm that he was 20 minutes out. Loved that, because it gave me time to finish up what I was doing and get ready.

He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in a short time. While he was here, I also had him check on another electrical issue and he confirmed that it needed to be fixed to keep my house safe. He gave me an estimate and said I can call to schedule him.

The service was swift, but what I really appreciated was also the conversation. Carlos is Colombian, and speaks multiple languages, and we talked about restaurants and other stuff while he worked. I appreciated this and felt very comfortable with him in my house while I was alone.

I'll definitely be calling to schedule him again for the next job I need done, and I'm happy to have an electrician now! Highly recommend :)

On the yelp app I sent pictures to this company to get an online estimate and this is extremely rude response that I got back. I would never use a company that treated their customers this way. This is from the owner of the company. He explained to me that he couldn't provide estimates as stated on the yelp website then he called me cheap told me I should go to craigslist because I'm so cheap that I can't afford for him to come to my home. He doesn't understand that on the yelp website he signed up for customers taking pictures and sending them over to him to get an estimate. Instead he came back with rude offensive behavior calling me names customers be aware if somebody's going to be this rude when they're trying to earn your business I would never give them one penny of my hard earned money. Everyone else that I sent pictures too to get an estimate knew what they signed up for and all of them gave me great estimates except for this very extremely rude man

We tried to install a chandelier on our own, but failed miserably. I contacted CG Electric through the Yelp app, and they responded almost immediately. We needed this done quickly and they had availability for the next morning! The electrician who came out was professional and extremely nice - he was efficient and I was very pleased with the price. Will call CG again!!
