CEI was founded in 1971 by Emory and Margaret Young, who remain actively involved in the company. Certified Electric, Inc. has proudly been a Carrier Dealer since 1976 and is currently a Factory Authorized Dealer. The owners and executives of Certified Electric, Inc. are Brunswick natives, educated in local schools, and are deeply involved with the local Chamber of Commerce, several Civic Clubs, the Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, and the Home Builders Association.
