Tomas is my guy. He's almost always available to help me out in a pinch and his crew has performed a number of services at my properties. He's also super friendly and flexible with time and payment - he's even met me in a Walmart parking lot with his kids late at night so I didn't have to go out of my way to pay him after work!

One suggested area of improvement is to double check that his guys have turned all services back on after completing any work. It has cost my short term rental business a couple of bad reviews (and refunded money to pacify upset guests) when some loose ends were neglected. e.g. a couple of the rooms in my home did not have power because a circuit was not powered back on after they finished up. I'm also pretty sure his guys closed off the propane tank in order to safely dig trenches for new electrical lines (good!) but forgot to turn it back on, resulting in no hot water for my guests (not so good).

Other than those hiccups, I still received outstanding service. Definitely my go-to electrician, so please don't steal him based off of this good review. Thanks.

I contacted Tomas after reading his excellent reviews on Yelp. In selling our home, the home inspector recommended that we switch out an amp for our air condition condenser unit. Tomas came out at his earliest convenience (we weren't in a big rush), and worked quickly and efficiently to do the job. He was courteous, considerate and communicated his intent throughout the process. His price was also the lowest among 4 quotes for the job. I've kept his card and will continue to contact him when I'm in need of an electrician.

Unprofessional. Got a quote, Scheduled a TV mount for the following day, took the day off for it and they never showed up. Had to email and call multiple times to see if they were coming. Eventually got connected and was given the old ""we can't come a dog bit my technician"" excuse.

Wow! I had a HUGE job I needed an extremely experienced electrician to accomplish. We demo-ed the kitchen and we discovered the electrical line for the island was about 3 feet off from where the new island would be. That means the concrete slab needed to be sawed in to, chipped away and a new route run. Most electricians I contacted don't do this type of work or told me they would jack hammer my foundation...yikes! Enter Tomas at Central Texas Electric. Wow! Fast, knowledgeable and friendly response with an initial bid based on pictures right away. He completed the job within two days of me first contacting them. AND so professionally!

Tomas completed the work as a complete expert. Everything I read online said not to jack hammer into your foundation, and when Tomas explained how he would run the new line when he came to the job site he explained they diamond cut into the slab and then chip it away, exactly how all the experts recommended online. I was thrilled. Tomas kept the job site perfectly clean, which was a bonus since my daughter has asthma. And concrete sawing kicks up an amazing amout of dust. He tented his whole work area!

He also noticed the previous electrician did some faulty work and fixed it for a per hour price on the spot. Amazing!

When he finished the job we happened to have a Round Rock city inspector on site to inspect the gas line we just moved and the city inspector looked over the new line in the foundation and all my exposed electrical Tomas had just fixed and said it looked fantastic and passed my inspection with flying colors.

I can't thank Tomas enough for what an amazing job he did. He will be my electrician for life! I already have him coming back to do the final electrical when the cabinets are installed and then back to do all the can lights. He's the greatest, you will be SO pleased with the work he and his crew do! Respectful, professional, well priced, and absolutely expert start to finish!

We moved into an older house and purchased replacement light fixtures for the dining room, kitchen and entry. Central Texas Electric gave us the best estimate for installation, came out the next business day, finished in about 4 hours and did an excellent job. I was really impressed with their friendliness, professionalism, and expert knowledge. Highly recommend them for electric work.

So painless. I find home improvement projects intimidating. Tomas showed up and added a few plugs did some wire updating and hooked my backyard up with exterior lights and outlets. Soooo happy with these adds. Just called they came over the next day gave me an estimate and followed through the following day. Can't recommend enough. Solid team!

Tomas is an honest businessman who goes above and beyond for a very low, but fair price. I had some electrical issues in my home and called him to come and take a look. He gave me a very fair estimate and was back at my house a couple of days later to do the work. It was in the middle of summer, so being that it is Austin, it was incredibly hot. He worked nonstop and worked very hard all day until the job was finished. He was up in the attic (again, think Austin and Summer) rewiring something in my guest room, adding an outlet and the wiring for said outlet outside, adding an outlet and the wiring in our utility room, and so forth. I will only use CTE for my electrical work going forward. As a person who is an independent contractor myself, all you have to go on is your honesty and you're only as good as your last job. Tomas is as honest and does better work than most anyone I have come across, in any field. I highly recommend CTE. There is not a better electrical company in Central Texas.
