Founded in 1985, Center Electrical was initially a partnership with License #477466. The business shifted to sole ownership in 1992, acquiring License #635075. The term ""Center Electrical"" is a shortened form of 'Center' (ctr), located at the heart of ELEctrICAL. For all your electrical needs, I’m right in the middle!

I’m Dale Smith, the owner of Center Electrical. I have been committed to delivering quality workmanship and ensuring customer happiness since 1985. Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, I am a true Californian. I completed my A.S. Degree in Electronics Technology at the College of Marin in 1980. I’m married and have five children, most of whom are adults now. I am passionate about music!. I’ve been playing percussion and learning from my good friend Chuck Brown since 1969. My interest in music sparked my journey into electrical work; my quest to learn about electronics and sound design led me to Motorola after I completed the Tech Program at College of Marin. I moved into electrical contracting as the electronics sector struggled in the 80s.
