Founded in 1985, Center Electrical was initially a partnership with License #477466. In 1992, it transitioned to sole ownership with License #635075. The name ""Center Electrical"" derives from the abbreviation of 'Center' (ctr), positioned centrally in the word ELEctrICAL. When you think of electrical, remember I’m at the center!

I’m Dale Smith, the owner of Center Electrical. Since 1985, I have dedicated myself to quality service and customer satisfaction. Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, I am a true Californian. I earned an A.S. Degree in Electronics Technology from the College of Marin in 1980. I am married with five children, most of whom are now adults. I am passionate about music!. I’ve been playing percussion and learning from my good friend Chuck Brown since 1969. My journey into electrical work began with music; my desire to understand electronics and sound design led me to Motorola after completing the Tech Program at College of Marin. I moved into electrical contracting as the electronics sector struggled in the 80s.
