Founded in 1985, Center Electrical was initially a partnership with License #477466. In 1992, it became a sole proprietorship under License #635075. ""Center Electrical"" is a play on the word 'Center' (ctr), found in the middle of ELEctrICAL. When you think of electrical, remember I’m at the center!

I am Dale Smith, proud owner of Center Electrical. I have been committed to delivering quality workmanship and ensuring customer happiness since 1985. As a native Californian, I grew up in Marin County after being born in San Francisco. I earned an A.S. Degree in Electronics Technology from the College of Marin in 1980. I have a wife and five children, the majority of whom are grown. Music is my passion. Since 1969, I have been involved in percussion, studying with my close friend Chuck Brown. My journey into electrical work began with music; my desire to understand electronics and sound design led me to Motorola after completing the Tech Program at College of Marin. When the electronics industry encountered difficulties in the 80s, I shifted to electrical contracting.
