Founded in 1985, Center Electrical was initially a partnership with License #477466. In 1992, it became a sole proprietorship under License #635075. The name ""Center Electrical"" derives from the abbreviation of 'Center' (ctr), positioned centrally in the word ELEctrICAL. Think of electrical work, and you’ll find me at the core!

I am Dale Smith, proud owner of Center Electrical. Since 1985, my focus has been on providing excellent service and ensuring client satisfaction. As a native Californian, I grew up in Marin County after being born in San Francisco. I earned an A.S. Degree in Electronics Technology from the College of Marin in 1980. I have a wife and five children, the majority of whom are grown. I have a passion for music. Since 1969, I have been involved in percussion, studying with my close friend Chuck Brown. My interest in music sparked my journey into electrical work; my quest to learn about electronics and sound design led me to Motorola after I completed the Tech Program at College of Marin. Eventually, I transitioned to electrical contracting when the electronics industry faced challenges in the 80s.
