Let me first say that being a New Yorker new to Florida I have a certain way of looking at things. I am accustomed to being overcharged by workers who are perpetually late. In searching for an electrician down here I figured I'd start here on YELP and hope the reviews were honest and accurate.

All I can say is you YELP reviewers have hit it out of the park with CDW!

Let's start with Chris. I called the company, left a message, and figured I'd never hear back which is what I've been trained to expect in NY. But within 48 hours, Chris got back to me, we set up an appointment, and within three days of that appointment I received two text reminders and one email.

Now let's get to Hector. When he arrived 15 minutes EARLY I was confused. This JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN! We had about 12 light fixtures to install so who knew how long it would take.

Hector got right to work and only took a break to take a sip of the cold water I gave him.

This guy is a not just an electrician. He's a designer and quick thinker. A piece on one of the fixtures was defective, so he got something from his truck and made it work.

Bottom line is if you live in the Orlando area and its outskirts, please don't waste your time vetting other electricians. I have been around a long time and I have never seen such professionalism, dedication, and top notch service.

Congratulations to Chris, Hector and everyone at CDW for being that rare commodity in the service industry.

CDW Electrical was exceptional in every way. From Daniel's friendly and accommodating scheduling to Justin's efficient and flawless trouble-shooting and repair (at a *very* fair price), I was extremely pleased with CDW and will not hesitate to call them for any future electrical needs.

[Be warned: there ARE scam artists in the electrician business in Orlando (unfortunately, I got taken by one of them), but CDW is a GREAT company to do business with. They understand great customer care and quality work at a reasonable price. You won't be disappointed!]

I have been having issues with my cable and was informed by my cable company that they were unable to perform any work due to having ""a hot ground."" I contacted CDW Electrical Services on Yelp and received confirmation the same day that they had availability that matched mine. We finished the booking process on the phone and I received both text and email confirmation the day prior to the appointment. Wayne arrived ten minutes early and was incredibly professional and kind. He thoroughly assessed this concern and informed me that our unit does not any electrical issues. Justin came out the day after I called CDW. I like their pricing method of $75/her for the first hour, then by the half hour after that...plus materials. Justin diagnosed my problems and fixed them within an hour. No other charges, no B.S., just straight, honest work at a fair price.

Great same day service! Needed some repairs done at our home that we're driving us crazy... Wayne came out and fixed them in under an hour. Service was very reasonably priced and he was also on time. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks to Daniel as well for being respectful of my time and getting Wayne out to our home on my day off- I didn't need to miss work.

Amazing service. I hate fluorescent lights in my office because they give me headaches. I spoke with Daniel and he suggested a simple replace with warm led bulbs that would fit right into the fluorescent input. I said great. One week later they were installed with Daniel personally coming to assure all was well.

I also spoke with Chris who was genuinely nice and informative.

These guys are stellar examples of a locally owned business and I will always go to them from now forward.

This company is awesome! We are new to the area and found them through Yelp. They are super professional, on time, quoted price upfront, and very experienced. We had 4 ceiling fans, dining room fixture, island pendants, LED under cabinet lighting, and dimmer for kitchen lights installed. Thanks guys!!!

I have had CDW to my home to do a number of electrical projects. They are timely and the work is excellent. I find their prices competitive and they always hold to their estimates. It's a pleasure to find a contractor that you can trust. Highly recommend them.
