We launched our business in 2009. We focus on residential electrical services and garage door opener replacements. Much of our business comes from home warranty providers, presenting both opportunities and challenges. Satisfying every customer can be tough due to policy limitations and warranty constraints. Despite this, we have cultivated a regular clientele that appreciates the quality service from Castle Contractor.

Worst experience I ever had. Don't even want to remember it. Made me unable to sleep. Rude, terrible, unprofessional, mean.........

I had an electrician from Castle Contractor come to my home on a warranty call. He was somewhat rude to us but I felt as long as he fixes our issue then no problem. He told me that it was a wiring problem and it should be no problem. I got a call and was told it was not under warranty and they would not cover it cause the electrician said somebody disconnected the wires on 5 lights. REALLY? One day the lights worked and then all of a sudden they magically got disconnected. I am sure he just did not want to come back cause he felt he could not make money on the repair call because it was warranty work.
I feel very cheated by this company!!!!!

If it was possible to put 0 Stars I would. This Contractor Noe Castillo is a crook and schemer. Waited 6 hours for him to leave 15 minutes after he arrived at my home and say it was not covered under my Home Warranty. A day later second option it was. In addition said he would be able to close my Garage door for $195 if I signed a Waiver of all Liability. Surprised he is still in business with no customer service or technical expertise. For his business cards to say "" Service fit for a King"" is blasphemy. Do not waste your time or money with this swindler.

My main torsion spring broke on our new home so we called new home warranty and they called Castle on 1/24. Their tech came out on Saturday 1/25 but did not have the .250 spring I needed so he told us he would place an order with his office and they would let me know when it arrived and set the appointment. Understand that when this spring breaks you can't open the door so my car was stuck in the garage until this gets fixed. After hearing nothing from Castle on Monday we called them and text the office 2 times with NO response, on our call on Tuesday they answered the phone to tell us they have no idea when the spring will arrive even though these springs can be bought at Home Depot for $70.00. We called New Home Warranty who called Castle and then called us back to tell us that the spring was in now stock and they would be contacting us. It's now Wednesday and we have not heard anything from Castle so we text their tech and he told the spring is not in stock and he as no idea when they can repair the issue, so Castle lied to New Home Warranty. We called Home Warranty again to tell them to cancel this service as I called Avila Garage Doors who has the spring in stock and will fix my problem with 2 hours of my call. This is my experience with Castle as of today.

We had an electrical issue with our new home. Several outlets were not functioning at all. Ruben came and spent a good deal of time and effort to find the problem and correct it. He was well mannered efficient and knowledgeable. The problem was simple but not easy to find. He took his time, found the trouble and fixed it. Best customer service that I have seen from a contractor in a long time. Call Castle the next time you have any electrical issues at all. Ask for Ruben, he is the BEST.

They were sent to our home because plug for fridge wouldn't reset on breaker. They came over 48 hours later. We had to get help to get fridge out of cubby enclouser because it's so big and full of food. We had to run a very long extention cord from the kitchen to family room. When Noe Castillo finally arrived, my wife asked him to put on booties with elastic because our entry way is polished marble and then carpet, his boots were filthy. He wouldn't!!!!!!! The wife he did something behind the fridge and pushed it back to the wall & went to fuse box outside and left with the extention cord still connected to fridge. This was last Tuesday. We still don't know if repaired. I called the office and lady answering phone ws most rude.... I told her the events and she said she would call Noe. I had left numerious messages because the card said 24 hrs. Finally she called said the tech said he pluged it into the wall and I had already taken pictures as proof. When I tried to send to her she didn't want to see the pictures and told me not to call back. And after paying in advance had the nerve to invoice me. Stay away from these crooks!

The only reason I am written this review, is because when you find a service provider that deserves acknowledgement for the service they provide, it should be shared. If you find yourself in need of work on your garage door, please call Noe Castillo of Castle Contractor. After years of having our garage door serviced only to have repeated problems, through our Home Warranty Service, they sent us Castle Contractor. Noe provided us with service that guaranteed we will no longer be making repeated calls to have our garage door serviced. And yes, he is licensed. Castle Contractor (951) 303-6208.

I contacted Old Republic Home Protection for an issue with my garage door. Old Republic contacted Castle Contractor (license #933993). I received a call today (12/30/2019) at approximately 11:26 AM from Castle, to schedule a window for a contractor to come by from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. I was told I would be given a call when the technician was 30 min out. The contractor, Alex Castillo, didn't call me until approximately 5:00 PM, and stated he was running late.
Castillo showed up at 5:20 PM and I showed him the garage door and explained what happened. Castillo did not bother to inspect the door, and within about 30 seconds of stepping into the garage, proceeded to lead the conversation with what he thought the warranty was or wasn't going to cover. He said that in his experience the only thing the warranty would cover was the spring but that the spring on my door looked fine. I told him that my warranty covered more than the spring and I said I wasn't concerned with what the warranty covered, I wanted to know what was wrong with the garage door and what it was going to take to fix it. Castillo refused to provide an estimate and proceeded to argue about the warranty. He expressed that if he did the work he wasn't going to get paid, that he wouldn't do a job for people like me anyway (whatever that means), and that it wasn't worth his time; at which point I asked for his information and kicked him out of my house.
His lazy attitude and passive aggressiveness is not the type of service I need nor expected to receive. Please send me someone that is willing to work and provide honest services for honest pay.

I had to deal with this company through my home warranty company. They charged me $175 to fix the problem. Well the door still won't open. The woman on the phone was extremely rude. How they're still in business amazes me. The only thing I recommend is NOT to use this company.

Castle Contractor was my assigned vendor when I made a claim with my home warranty service for my garage door motor that shorted out. I read the reviews and saw Alex was receiving high marks for his customer service skills. We were contacted promptly by CC and scheduled an appointment. Alex would be our technician (woohoo). Alex arrived within the set time and gave us a ""10 minute out"" courtesy call. He diagnosed the issue quickly (a fried circuit board) and gave me potential options.
*It's an old unit and the board may not be replaceable.
*If not replaceable, CC will replace the unit with a standard equivalent.
*We may also opt to upgrade and just pay the balance over the cost of a standard unit.
The board was no longer available so we opted to upgrade our unit. Alex came back with a new high end belt drive, wifi enabled, smooth functioning garage door unit. He came within the designated time frame and gave us the customary ""10 minutes out call"". He was professional, informative and his customer service skills were spot on.
I would definitely use CC for future home needs inside or outside of our home warranty service. Good job Alex...
