It is a task when searching for a reliable and dependable electrician - but I think that search is over for me. I found Castillo Electric on Yelp while searching for a licensed electric company for a small project. I got 4 different quotes from 4 different companies and I decided to go with Castillo Electric. This company was very professional and responsive from the get go. Jose was quick to respond to my initial request for an estimate. He came over and heard me while also giving his opinions on how the project could move further. I liked his ideas better than what I had initially planned. He was very responsive to emails and texts. His estimate was very competitive and he was very clear about the materials that he would use. He did not try and nickel and dime for everything- everything was covered in the quote he gave. They came on the agreed upon day on time, went over the project with me one more time and got to work. They kept me informed of everything they were doing and finished the project in a few hours and cleaned up after themselves. Everyone was very friendly and professional throughout the process. I would definitely contact Jose for my future electrical needs. Have already shared his information with some family and friends.

Jose called me in a very reasonable amount of time, said he'd come to the house after he finished the job he was on. It took a bit longer than he expected, but he called and came to check out our breaker issues, found the problem very quickly and fixed the problem. He double checked the issue to be sure it was right. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Castillo Electric for all of your electrical needs. We've had Jose come by twice now to do electrical work. He's approachable, honest, and reliable. He's added new outlets, one of which needed its own power source, and fixed a loose outlet. We also had him install a new ceiling light.

Given my experience working with many skilled trades, it was clearly apparent that Jose was not only a knowledgeable electrician but one that will get the job done correctly and most importantly, with the highest degree of safety. I had hired several ""electricians "" in the past but none dealt come close to his capabilities.

Jose encountered a few unforeseen challenges as he dove into the installation (which were out of his control) but he was very methodical about getting it completed to our satisfaction. The final product came out great that even our neighbors want to hire Jose to install the light fixtures on their home as well.

Will certainly be hiring Jose and the team for all of our future electrical projects.

Great experience with Jose and his team at Castillo Electric! We are undergoing a home remodel and was in search for an electrician for various projects throughout the home. I met with Jose to walk our home and after our meeting, it was an easy decision to hire his team. Jose and his team completed various projects including adding additional circuits to our kitchen and installed recessed lighting and track lighting throughout the home. I had a great experience with Castillo Electric 510-866-4043.
I hired them to add a circuit. They got the job because they were the only electrician to open the face plate on the electric panel and crawl under the house to get a full scope of the project. I got seven local electricians to give me quotes, and some wanted to cut into exterior walls without having even opened the face plate of the electric panel. This guy did a bunch of the electrical work on the KB homes that went up along Mission. Good guy. He tried to return the cash tip I gave him because the amount given wasn't the same as what he charged.
